The pool showed up in one big box, and was abled to be assembled by one adult and two small children lol. The thing I'm most impressed about is the pool pump; it is shockingly quiet. It has a timer and on/off switch on it.

I’ve had good experiences with Intex pools from the Ultra XTR Deluxe line, so I was interested in this rectangular version. The overall design is consistent with the other XTR models, which use a galvanized steel frame with locking joints and a thick 3-ply liner. Those construction elements are a big reason these pools tend to hold up well compared to many basic above-ground pools. The liner and frame are the strongest parts of the setup. The liner on ours has held up well with no leaks, and the frame components have resisted rust surprisingly well. The included ladder has been the weakest part of the package. It works, but it feels lighter and less stable than the rest of the pool. The rectangular shape does give you a nice long swim lane, which some people prefer over a round pool. That said, compared to an 18-foot round pool, a 20' × 10' rectangle actually has less total swim area even though it’s longer in one direction. So the layout feels more like a long lane than a wide open swim space. As with any pool this size, proper ground preparation and leveling are extremely important. A large pool like this holds several tons of water, so a solid, level base and good support under the legs make a big difference in how well it performs long term. My one hesitation is the price. The Ultra XTR line generally offers good build quality, but the cost for this size feels a bit high compared with what similar models sold for in the past. We’re extremely happy with this pool so far. It fits perfectly in our backyard and is going to be an absolute blast for the kids this summer. The liner thickness is excellent, and the pool feels very durable, especially with the solid metal framing—it gives a lot of confidence in the overall build quality. Because of the size, maintenance will likely be a bit more involved, but that’s to be expected with a pool this large. Setup went smoothly, and while we set it up to leave this review, we haven’t filled it yet. Photos will definitely be coming once summer hits and it’s in full use. Overall, this is exactly what we expected—and hoped for—from an Intex product: well-made, sturdy, and designed to last. Very happy with the purchase and would absolutely recommend it. ... show more

This above ground pool is an absolute must for everyone this summer! It’s surprisingly easy to set up and is a good thickness. Good stability and no leakage detected. All parts were in the box, nothing missing. Just as easy to disassemble too.
