  • Great Summer Pool—Just Don’t Let Winter Win
This INTEX Easy Set pool was a great addition for the summer. It’s a really nice size, easy to enjoy, and perfect for cooling off without having to commit to a full backyard construction project or accidentally becoming “the pool house” for the entire neighborhood. Ours lasted about a year, but honestly, that was more on me than the pool. I did not properly clean it out after the winter season, and apparently pools do not appreciate being treated like a giant seasonal science experiment. Lesson learned. The filter pump may be a little underpowered for a pool this size, but it mostly gets the job done as long as you stay on top of maintenance. Setup was pretty straightforward, and having the ladder included is a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a solid above-ground pool for the price. Take care of it, clean it properly after the season, and it should treat you well. Ignore it all winter, and it may begin evolving its own ecosystem. ... show more

  • Complete pool set
I have been amazed with this pool. For what we got for the price is awesome. I did buy a submersible vacuum for it. But all needed is included and easy to put together.

  • But at your own risk!
I am not sure if this review is for the seller, Intex or Amazon but I absolutely hate this pool. I wanted something quick & easy because I am in the process of getting divorced & will not be living here much longer & my husband has always said no pool so I wanted to get it set up while he was out of town for 3 days & failed miserably. I made the mistake of thinking my yard was level when it is actually slightly sloping, however I also made the mistake of thinking the ground being unlevel was the reason it was not working. I was wrong about both & wrong about believing this would be easy. I was also wrong when I thought I was purchasing a new product. This arrived with the ground cover which is a thin, cheap tarp, with holes in it, bird poop on it & reeking of mold. Which I am highly sensitive & allergic to mold so literally got ill each day I was working with this stupid thing. For 3 days I partially filled, drained, refilled & moved this pool to various spots in my yard that should have been level enough based on my research. The spots were not perfect & weren’t a long term set up but I just needed something for 2 months & they should have worked. But everything about it was a struggle. Water all going to one corner which I thought was because of it being unlevel, getting the wrinkles out, getting the walls to rise & not get sucked under the water. I felt like such an idiot wasting hours & hours while my neighbors floated around in their real pool watching me. Hopefully they took pity on me when I slipped & fell (fully clothed) & started crying. I ended up having to go out of town for a week so I initiated a return because I was already irritated over being given a used item at this price point when I was expecting new. I folded it up & placed it in my garage & decided to deal with the return, which I knew was also going to be such a hassle, when I got back. While on vacation all my kids did was swim so I had a change of heart. Plus I didn’t feel like trying to pack everything back up & get it to the UPS store. So I tried again & again & again. No luck. Finally I moved it to a 100% level spot on my driveway. Literally in front of my garage that we can now no longer get our cars into. I was able to get a little more water in it this time but still struggling with the walls & water pooling at one side?? Just when I was about to admit defeat again, I refilled the ring with air because it had deflated for the 10th time. It was 11p so pretty quiet & I could hear a whistling sound. Finally I realized that the ring had holes in it. Two of them (or so I thought)! On something I thought would be brand new! I patched the holes & the next day added more air & the pool finally started filling right. I have well water so I slowly filled it over the course of 3 days. & even though the walls were finally going up, they were getting caught under water, new wrinkles kept appearing & I just could not get it perfect. But my kids were so excited that I didn’t have the heart (& too much pride with my neighbors watching) to take it down again. & as the water rose, I noticed all the leaks. 3 that I’ve seen so far. Didn’t have the proper patched to fix them (which I shouldn’t have to on a new purchase ) so I fixed them the best I could & am waiting for a kit to arrive. Oh & the ring is still deflating. The whole process has been such a joke. I now have an ugly & quite frankly pathetic looking pool sitting in my DRIVEWAY with holes in the ring & the pool itself. So I urge you to take all this into consideration when purchasing. At least from this seller. My kids absolutely love it though. & it got them off of electronics & they were swimming in it (& stepped on a rock underneath the liner, yay!) until 10:30p tonight. So 1 star for that. I’m sure they’ll love it even more when it collapses next week & they float right into our garage. ... show more

  • Ground must be LEVEL, LEVEL, LEVEL, LEVEL!
If you do not have a completely level yard you may want to professionally hire someone to level it, or be prepared for back breaking tedious work for days. We thought we had the area level, the pool filled oddly and off side, two days later 3400 gallons of water flooded our yard. After dedicating two entire weekends, and getting help from google searches on how to, we leveled the ground completely. It worked and pool is in place and ready for the summer. Setting up is also very time consuming and tiresome for the 15’ x 42” round soft set. Placing the pool is simple after your ground is level, but making sure the bottom liner is smooth and sides formed to accommodate the water is a two person job and continue to form and monitor as pool is filling. The filter/pump instructions are worthless. You’ll want to look on you tube for a how to video. We just finished filling for a second time in a two week period after the 1st attempt was a complete fail on a slightly uneven ground. Putting in last several inches of water now (photo). If you have experience with setting up pools then this is a good size choice, if you’re new to pool set up you may want to start with a 10’ or 12’. ... show more

  • Doesn't hold air
I would give this pool a higher rating if it wasn't for the fact that everyday I am having to air up the pool. When I went through the reviews I didn't see many comments about having to put air in everyday or I would've probably went a different route. Three times I have come out in the morning to the ring being almost completely deflated with water just about spilling out. The setup was pretty simple and the fill time was fairly quick. ... show more

This pool held up to quarter size hail ! And lots of cyclones and ocean waves . Buy this pool ! It's great for small kids who need to be able to touch bottom till they develop swimming skills.! • Love it
It’s only been up for a day so will edit as things go but we absolutely love it. The kids are obsessed and the grownups are pretty happy too. It’s a great size and the inflatable option is good if you don’t wanna go hard side. I was nervous seeing all the reviews and notes in the manual about the ground having to be absolutely level. We threw down about 15 bags of soil to even out holes and whatnot but our yard has an obvious slope that we couldn’t really fix or avoid without a massive project and equipment rental. So we gave it a go and started filling, checking once there was about an inch of water like the manual says. It was all pooling to the slope side which the manual says if that happens you gotta abort mission and re-level. We like to live dangerously so we let it keep filling and it turned out perfect, it doesn’t lean and it’s holding the water just fine. Took about half a day to fill all the way. So far we haven’t noticed any holes, it’s been up all night and looks great. The pool itself is crazy easy to set up, with the most time consuming part being evening out the bottom which you can continue to do while it’s filling. If you get one with a pump, find a video of how to assemble it cause the directions are awful. Once you know what you’re doing the pump is super easy to set up as well, but was overall the trickiest part. So far it’s a yes from us, dog! Get it. ... show more
