As a single woman, I put this pool up alone. Not sure why these other people say it took 5-6 people.. dear lord that's absurd lol! I didn't level the ground, just raked the debris up. Didn't add a layer of sand. Honestly I'm too lazy for that. I used the ground cloth under and I am on year 4 with no issues. The ladder and pump suck, get a decent one. But the pool itself is fine. I don't take it down nor close it for winter. For the price, ($4something) I cannot complain. Me and my friends enjoy it quite a bit. Build a little deck around it like I did and it can be a nice addition :) ... show more

    • Amazing quality for your $$
The most important thing is to level your ground. We spent hours and hours leveling our ground. Assembly was challenging and the directions were a little confusing. It took 5 of us to put this pool together and the last bar is definitely the hardest to lock the pool ring in place. The ladder is horrible, you need to buy a more sturdy ladder. I am 130 pounds and the ladder is very very flimsy. Overall, we love our pool! It is refreshing, filter works good, and it is esthetically nice to look at for an above ground pole hope we can get 2 years out of it! ... show more

    • Excellent pool especially for the price.
Stupidly easy to assemble. I'm a stay at home mom, and assembled it by myself while husband was running errands, and I was also chasing kids around the yard. Do yourself a favor and grab extra filter cartridges at the same time- my pump quit working after about 3 days before I even got chemicals in it but it turns out the filter was just so gunked up already. We have well water and I used a charcoal filter when filling the pool, but I'm guessing there was still a bunch of sediment. Once I replaced the cartridge and got the chemicals squared away, it has been running like a dream. Also, I promise you, no matter how level you think your yard is, it isn't. Do yourself the favor and do the ground work. I did not, and it's a little wonky now. ... show more

    • Splash out on this pool!
The pool is Great! Set up on a previously identified flat piece of ground took my wife and I about 2 hours at a gentle steady pace. Don't rush it, make sure everything is put together correctly. Level ground is essential. Make sure the site for your pool is completely flat and level or the pool could collapse, there is a lot of water weight to support and an uneven surface will over stress the frame. Took about 18 hours approximately to fill the pool and we have all been using it daily. The 15 foot by 48 inch pool (42 inch water depth approx) holds in the region of 4000 gallons of water so keep in mind your next water bill will be higher after filling it. My only complaint is the ladder and this is why i gave the product 4 stars instead of 5. The one that is supplied in my opinion is awful. It is made out of so many pieces that it is very wobbly even when assembled carefully and my weight is half the described limit. Looks like it has been made so they can easily adapt it for different size pools. If I had been given a choice I would have paid more for a sturdier ladder instead of this one. That being said, the actual pool is very good value. For it's price it offers a lot of good family fun and that is priceless. ... show more

So far, so good! Relatively easy to assemble, but time consuming. I put it up by myself (mother of two) and have had Intex pools - 3rd one ordered is this one - over the course of the last 15 years and I really have no complaints. They have all held up very well, so I am giving this one 5 stars, as I expect it will live up to the others that I have purchased through Intex. ... show more

Kind of a pain trying to get the plastic pcs threw the holes and getting the holes to line up to get them threw, hurts your hands. Other than that was pretty easy to set up. The pool cover sucks rips super easily and it doesnt keep anything out it comes with circles in the top like peek a boo holes.

love the pool. easy set up. bought the skimmer for it and it sucks!! I have found that if I cap one of the inlets it works 500% better but I'm worried that it might mess up my 12" sand filter pump I bought for it. the cover is cheap. it has a lot of holes in it and sinks easily if not tied tight. overall love it. will be buying a larger one in the winter when the prices are cheaper. ... show more

    • Mediocre pool
It was reasonably priced and I have always had Intex pools until my last one and it went bad in a year so I went back to Intex. Pool is ok, easy to set up however is a far cry from the last pools I purchased from them. It came with no skimmer or tools to clean the pool and no basket skimmer to catch large debris. You will have to skim like crazy to keep up with debris if you are any where near a tree. The only stuff that leaves the pool is what you remove. The pump is very small compared to other ones I have purchased. The inlet is also split into 2 very small ones and are hooked together at the bottom and then into the pump. Looks very hokey and a lot of weight to be pulling on the liner. Also the ladder is VERY flimsy and unsteady. Says it holds 300 lbs but I would never let a very heavy person on it. Very disappointed and by the time I purchase the items it should have it will not be a great value either. ... show more
