This pool was perfect, every couple years. We replace our small yard pool due to normal wear and tear. This time we tried a different setup. This pool is strong, easy to set up and built of quality material. I was disappointed to see a recall after I bought this pool due to the strap that goes around the outside. But honestly, this did not affect us at all since we do not have infants our young toddlers using this pool.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I was somewhat disappointed at how short 30" really is. The photos are a little deceiving in that a grown man cannot stand up in this pool and have the water come to his hips. I'm 6' tall and the water doesn't even come up to my hips. I have small kids and this is mainly for them so its not a big deal, just something to be aware of. You can't really swim in this pool due to the shallow depth. I think of it more like a large hot tub with cold water. Its a nice option to have in a small back yard, we put ours on pavers with some outdoor carpet underneath. The frame is easy to assemble and seems well made. The liner seems good and sturdy. The filter pump that comes with this pool seems a little underpowered to me, but I upgraded that to a saltwater kit anyway which was also more powerful. Overall its a great kit, easy to setup, a nice option for a small yard and the price on Amazon is very good! It shipped fast and I can't really find much to complain about. A few observations or tips for others who might get this pool. First, make sure you absolutely triple check for rocks or other intrusive objects where you plan to put the pool. We double checked and swept and still managed to end up with two small rocks that ended up under the liner. They aren't sharp fortunately and won't damage the liner, but I sure wish we had checked a third time! Second, try to get the ground as level as possible. In my small yard it wasn't possible to put the pool on a totally level area, so there is a bit of an issue because we put the shallower end near where the water return hose connects, so the water level doesn't cover it as much as I would like. This made it difficult to leave the hoses just sitting there, since the weight of the water in the hoses makes the angle of the water return shoot upwards towards the surface. So if you are going to end up unlevel, make sure you put your hose ports on the deep end not the shallow end. The angle on my pool isn't drastic, but its just enough to create an inch or two difference between the two opposing sides of the pool. Also one last thing, when you start filling the pool, once you have an inch or less of water in the bottom, you should get someone inside the pool and iron out wrinkles. If you don't, you will end up like my pool and have creases all along the bottom of the pool. It would be better to stretch out the liner as much as you can. I did pull it out at the edges, but then I just let the water fill it and walked away. It isn't a functional problem, just something to be aware of.

I (36F) set this up all by myself. The box says 30 minute set up, but it probably took me 2 hours. I watched a youtube set-up video on the Intex website which was very helpful. I have had it set up for exactly a month and it's been great - no leaks, the pump works, it's easy to clean, and it heats up from the sun very well. The pool is very durable; my two large dogs (80/90 lbs each) were able to swim around and rest their paws on the sides without scratching the liner or bending the posts. I have had such a great time floating around and reading in it!

Mine came with a hole! Other than that it’s a nice pool to cool off in on hot days. It looks a little cheap but it’s actually pretty sturdy. Install took 3 of us maybe 20 minutes. Water leaks slowly from the hole it came with and I do plan on exchange! Size is perfect for 3 adults max. Tons of kids would fit! I am able to sit in a float but I do bounce off all the walls. The filter I heard tons of negative things but it seems do be doing the job? I’ll edit once I get the new pool to 5 starts if there isn’t a hole!
