I had to write my 5 star review right after I got them hung. I already had fasteners on the windows so I just needed the rods. Each fastener was individually packaged with 2 screws. They are nicer than what I already had up, but I wasn't into changing them out yet. I hung them on 35" windows with 54" black out curtains. They were not scratched or warped, as a good many had complained of. The rods were in a plastic wrapper that might be hung in a store and shipped in a long box that UPS took good care with. While these feel a bit overpriced for cafe rods, they are nicer than the sash rods I was going to buy. I like that for as small as they are they have little finals that add to the appearance in a spot too tight for a regular rod.. Mine did not come bent, installing was easy as you'd expect for 4 screws. I think some may be misunderstanding what they're buying (probably due to the price) these are for small lightweight curtains. These are about 2X the price of somewhat similar sash rods I've gotten from brick and mortar stores even though it's a 2 pack, but these do look nicer. I like the way these look on our windows, sort of antiqued color. The size is adjustable, and they hold our thermal blackout curtains well, no middle bending, so they are sturdy even though they are lightweight. Easy enough to put up the brackets myself with the use of a handheld electric drill screwdriver. The price was what had me originally select these as they were a good value and I have purchased five sets of them. The only aside is that on one or two of the rods in the those fives sets, the end cap was a little loose and fell off, but that was not a big deal. I just put it back on and it stays on once the rod is snapped into the bracket. ... show more

    • Not enough hooks to hang rods!

I ordered a TWO pack of rods but the package only comes with ONE set of hanging brackets. How does this make sense? How am I supposed to hang the other curtain rod? I have two windows to cover and only one set of brackets. So disappointed!! Will be returning!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of these curtain rods. It was a big mistake to not have inspected them thoroughly upon arrival. The rods are severely bent and warped, making them impossible to straighten or adjust due to their flimsy material. One of the rods even had a broken and snapped-off end cap. Additionally, there are numerous visible signs of paint chipping off. I missed the return window, but was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer support from Amazon. They promptly processed a refund for me, which I greatly appreciate. However, I must emphasize that the curtain rods themselves are of poor quality. I would never purchase them again or recommend them to anyone. Even the smaller size (28”-48”) rods I had ordered were bent and chipped, although not as severely as the longer ones. Unfortunately, having two smaller rods doesn’t solve my problem, as I need matching longer ones. This situation has left me with no choice but to start over and find a better quality curtain rod. ... show more
