The media could not be loaded. Had these lights installed for over a year now and they have worked flawlessly all the time. They are well built and straight forward to install.. providing you have a way of hiding the cables…. I had to do a complete makeover of my staircase as they were just ply with carpet when I purchased the house… So I used that opportunity to install these lights during the build and also some small deck lights to the side… which made it easy for running all the cables down the edges for my situation.. The control panel sits under my bottom step hidden by a removable riser panel…. These really made the new wood treads and risers pop.. we love them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Everything was well packaged. Very thorough kit with easy to follow directions. The wiring looks complex but it’s really easy once you lay it out and get started. I went one step further and since I was building the steps from new, I used my wood router and recessed pockets in to the bottom of each tread to hide the lights even more. I was still able to use the double sided tape provided. Programming was very easy also. If I had one critique, it would be that the two motion sensors are too sensitive. It would be nice to program them to be less sensitive. I chose to use tape over the sensor eyes to partially block some of the sensors range. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As you can tell from the pics we had to cut a hole to get the set this up perfectly. We had to put our motion sensor to the left of the stair so the right has a split sec delay. Not a problem at all. We love it but it took us the whole day to complete. Thank God my husband knows what he’s doing. Love the variation of things you can do with the lights, speed, time, etc.. The way our staircase is designed, we wanted everything hidden that’s why it took so long and had to cut the hole in the wall. We installed the lights underneath the stair noses and just drilled few hole for each step. It looks amazing! The module is hidden behind the riser of one of the stairs. I wish it had light sensors so it doesn’t go off during the day but we solved it with connecting the lights to a programmable outlet. So now I set it up to be on between 6 pm and 6 am. I.
