I've only used it a few months but it's performed perfectly. Size was just right and elasticity helped to form fit. I fumbled a bit with the back zipper leash at first but quickly got the hang of it. Initially, it might help to have a partner help but it really is well designed for a solo zip-up. I liked having the chest area free of bulky zippers especially when surfing or swimming out on a paddle board. Same for paddling in or on a kayak. I'd probably use the suit even for swimming or snorkeling for slightly cooler water or longer exposure. ... show more

The disclaimer: I'm pear shaped! So, buying a wetsuit online is a crapshoot. I'm 5'8" and 210 lbs. So, I ordered the 4XL wetsuit. The suit fits fairly well, it is a little tight in body length and I'm not a long torso person, but it is tight. The neck seal can be adjusted pretty tight, the arm seals are ok. The leg seals are the downfall of this suit. They are just way to loose, because they don't seal tight, water flows semi-freely through the suit. Considering my body shape, I'm fairly happy with the suit. It semi-fits! If I wear this suit out, yes, I'd buy another one. ... show more

I purchased this mainly for kayaking on days the news warns people about how cold the water is. Works a little too well. On days above 70 was sweating before getting in the boat. Tested for the first time in pool. It was 75 , windy and cloudy and did not feel the chill . I am a womens 2x but bought a mens 3x because my chest is 52 inches and I don't want to chance popping the zipper.(I have killed sports bras in 3 days) I could only feel the coolness of the water above my chest and in the front of my shoulders where the suit is a bit loose, but once you're in and stay below the water you don't feel it. If you need to adjust this once it's wet ,do it under water. Once you come up it's very sticky. It peels off easy. Unless you have larger that average body parts buy your regular size.
