Is this a reason to post my build, maybe. Great CPU. My buddy and I had a build competition and he chose the K version which doesn't make sense since we have GPUs. Anyway held great under stress tests for a few hours and have not had any problems with speed. Definitely lives up to the i7 name.

Working great so far, was a much needed upgrade from my i5-4670k..I jumped from 2012 to 2022 in one grand leap of upgrades, into "oh wow my CPU isn't at 100% when playing these games anymore?" (GTA V, Tarkov, FiveM, etc.) Running in this setup: MSI Z590 motherboard, 64gb Corsair Vengeance RAM (2x 32gb), Gigabyte RTX 3060 Gaming OC, Evga Supernova 750 G6 power supply, and the Noctua NH-U12S Redux as the CPU cooler keeps this going just fine. Everything air cooled since the last cooler was a liquid cooler that spontaneously screwed me over one day when the pumps failed while I was out of the house (somehow didn't fry anything besides my nerves). Watching the temperature on the CPU with this cooler, I have rarely seen the CPU hit 67c while running TWO instances of GTA V on max graphics. ... show more

I bought a KF in error, my bad. I compared it to my i9-11900K and immediately realized that the compromises made in the i7-11700 was not tro my liking. Tried to save a buck and wound up loosing.
