I am in-love with my Navy Meridian Aiden king size bed. It is solid, easy to install, and looks FABULOUS! NOTE: I was able to use my existing heavy-duty standard bed frame by uninstalling the wooden rails off from the side boards. My king mattress is currently sitting on box springs (two twin boxes). I don't like my bed sitting low. To the folks at Meridian: You have an excellent product, however, the shipping/logistics companies being used to deliver your furniture is lack-luster. The first company to deliver my product was late. What is the purpose of having customers schedule a DELIVERY WINDOW, if the delivery company is not able to honor it? The freight delivery company (forgot their name) was running late, and eventually called me wanting to know if it was acceptable for them to be approximately two-hours late. Of course, my answer was no, because I had already been waiting all that time, and I had another pre-existing appointment to be at in two-hours. The delivery person eventually showed up approximately 25 minutes after calling me. I should've have known something was not right with my order, when the person who dropped off the boxes inside my living room immediately stated: "The box is damaged but I opened it up and there is no damage, everything is ok", and he was in a hurry to get my signature on the order. I noticed what he was referring to was a hole in the box, that appeared to be done by a forklift, or so. The white foam lining that protects the furniture was a tad bid ripped, but from outside the box, the furniture (headboard portion) itself "appeared" to be okay. I was HEART-BROKEN, and extremely upset when my husband, and I, finally took the headboard out from the box and noticed that the headboard was in-fact damaged; it was sunk-in the same area which had the forklift mark on the box. No rips or tears, simply sunk-in. You see, I had been eyeballing this bed for approximately six months. I am one of those people who has a hard time buying things for my own use. My children and family always come first, but this time was different, I decided to FINALLY splurge on myself. I have never had a headboard (or bedsit in my entire adult life) and I've always longed for one. It was love at first sight when I came across the Meridian Aiden king size bed in navy, and so devastating to have received it in a damaged condition. I was able to verbally speak to an Amazon representative, who was very kind and attentive. I simply cannot thank her enough for all of her assistance in scheduling the return of the damaged unit, and delivery of the replacement bed. Fast forward to approximately one week; I had a delivery window in which the bed was supposed to arrive on, when suddenly my security cameras go-off while I was at work. The second delivery company (ABF I believe), is at my house way too early. I had set the delivery window for the afternoon because I knew I would not be able to leave work early. I was LIVID, and called ABF to complain. The account manager said he would contact the driver and have him return in the afternoon, as it was already pre-scheduled for. When I made it home, to my surprise, the boxes had been left outside my garage door, with a note to call the driver. I was so upset because it had rained the previous night, and the ground was still wet. The Amazon representative had advised me to inspect the delivery before the driver left my property, and since I didn't have the chance to do so, I believed that this delivery too would be damaged. I dragged the boxed inside the house and inspected them closely. NO DAMAGE :) What a relief! I went ahead and dialed the driver's cell phone number. Thankfully, the driver was very pleasant to deal with. He explained that the reason why he left the box outside my garage was because his next delivery was set to be out-of-state. He would have had to return the bed to ABF's hub, and return in a COUPLE OF DAY'S with my delivery. He also explained that it was not annotated on his work order that there was a damaged order to pick up (damaged bed), however, he did proceed to take it with him. I really appreciated how he tried to think out of the box (I believe his name is Mike or Rick). It's people like him, and the Amazon customer rep that helped out that truly make a difference! In summary, I recommend the bed, and would purchase again in a heart-beat. The delivery logistics needs to be tweaked out if ordering via Amazon. When you do receive your order: INSPECT WHAT YOU EXPECT!

After many years of having the same bed which was on shaky ground to start with and starting to fall down and squeek, we decided it was time to get something new. We oured over every site. Wayfair , overstock, etc and finally gave Amazon a try . We found this one at what I think is a pretty fair price and ordered it. they gave us a pretty precise delivery date and it came right when expected . it comes in 2 boxes and once I opened them it was easy to move all the pieces including the headboard as nothing was too heavy . Assembly is very easy, but time consuming, I really think they could have pre-attached the slats to the connectors and connected them with a string or something , as the slats took the longest time to complete. The Allen wrenches are good, but if you have an allen wrench ratchet screwdriver this will go so much faster. All the screws are pre machined so they generally go in easy. The wings went on a little harder as lining them up was tough and no one cut holes in the fabric under the headboard so you had to punch your own. All super easy but something you should be aware of . Once the bed was complete the mattres and low profile box spring wit perfectly . Box spring isn't necessary, but we liked it so we kept it. and the bed is an absolute rock of firmness. I could take a running leap on to the bed now and throw my whole 180lb body onto it and it barely moves. we have a softer firm mattress so sleeping on this bed is pure evil now. Getting out of it is torture and then you spend all day thinking about getting back to it, and it looks fantastic. the material is high quality and well made. it really seems like it will hold up for many years. Very happy with my purchase.

Get it... don't spend weeks questioning whether you should because the price will increase or it will go out of stock and you will regret not buying it. **NOTE** If you are questioning any of the bed colors, I highly recommend reaching out to the manufacturer and requesting free swatches of the colors you are looking at. As with any velvet, the color of the bed is completely dependent on lighting. Before I set it up I had the delivery people drop the box in my living room which has "day light" lighting. The green was reading very bright which almost made me return because I wanted a deep, rich green. So glad I brought it into my room for a look because the lighting makes it that deep green I'm looking for. It is definitely that statement piece I was looking for. It was easy to assemble with a little help from my father and some power tools (we did use the tool that came with the bed but only for 4 hard to reach bolts). It seems very sturdy and a piece that will last me several years. The only complaint I have at the moment and almost worth taking half a star to a star off (I am not sure if this is Amazon, manufacturer/store, or delivery company's fault) is the "scheduled delivery" isn't actually scheduled. Due to work I set delivery up for a Friday between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm but got a phone call at 10:16 am that they would be at my home for delivery in less than 20 minutes. While I love that they were early, I couldn't just leave work almost 5 hours earlier than I originally had scheduled. I did "convince"/beg the delivery team to hold off for at least an hour so 11:30 am but I shouldn't have had to do that since I has specifically scheduled it for 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In regards to purchasing this bed through Amazon: I did find this bed at two additional online stores (one well known, the other not so well known), Amazon wasn't the most expensive but they weren't the cheapest (it was almost a $100 swing in each direction - Amazon in the middle). While Amazon does not price match, I ultimately choose to purchase from Amazon due to their exceptional customer service, reputation, they offered a monthly payment plan if needed, and easy of return/free return. The value/peace of mind was worth the extra bit of money. Overall I am very happy that I decided to purchase, I would buy again and have recommended this product to several others. I’ve had this less than a year and it finally broke from one side. Super flimsy! The slats kept dislodging and my husband had to keep fixing them. But now the frame has finally broke! Called multiple furniture repair carpenters to come look at it and fix it. But they all said the frame is very hollow and cheaply made. They cannot affix or mend the wooden frame because it will break again and won’t hold up. We have a baby coming next month and it’s really stressing me out. What a waste of my money. We haven’t had this bed for long, it’s not even been a year yet. My husband and I aren't that heavy either nor do we have kids yet who’d jump on the bed. Such a shame. It’s a pretty bed but doesn’t hold up tbh. Really disappointed!

It took a long time to get this bed delivered. It was supposed to be December 9, so my husband took off work and we did not hear from them. That night I called CEVA ( they were the delivery company that was responsible for it), they gave me the number of another company they put it off on to do the final delivery and was told it would be delivered the following Tuesday. That was okay. The next day we recieved an email from CEVA, saying that they showed up Saturday to deliver and no one was here....we were here all day and have a ring door bell so they flat out lied, I mean they didn't even have the bed anyway it was at another facility in town!!! We finally were available to put it together yesterday( a full week later than originally planned). It is beautiful and it is a silvery gray. Many people referred to it as blue, they may have a hard time distinguishing between silver and blue. Its definitely a silvery gray and works perfectly with our master bedroom colors. The bed is beautiful and sturdy, pretty easy to assemble. No squeaking or noise. My husband and I put it together in about an hour. Those that said it had bed bugs have me completely baffled theres just no way and none( thank goodness). Overall I love my new bed, even though there was a small hole in the fabric that I had to fix. And for the record the delivery guys were very nice and did not work for CEVA and their boss doesn't understand how CEVA stays in business!! I have added a couple of photos of the finished look.

I LOVE this bed!!! I got a king size for just myself because I’ve never had one I’ve always had Queen but this bed looks absolutely beautiful across my room! Its huge and perfect! I feel the quality is very good and its sturdy. My 6 year old twins already tested it out with their cart wheels. I got a 10 inch mattress for it and I think its perfect. I wouldn’t get a smaller mattress definitely 10 inch or more. I put it together all by myself and it took me 2 hours. Some of the holes weren’t even so it took some extra muscle that I don’t have so that was crappy and most of the screws required an Allen key which is included but I wanted to use my power drill to tackle it faster and avoid sore fingers. The slats were confusing at first but I figured out it was easier to attach them all the way across and then secure them in the holes together. Once it was complete the bed was just gorgeous. I grabbed the gray king size for $480.00 I watched the price go up and down for 6 months. It got as low as $440 and as high as $550 so if you’re shopping and thinking on it keep that in mind. But this bed surely appears to be very expensive.

I love my bed and my husband loves it too. We have the Blue but it's more Royal Blue than Navy blue but royal blue is what I wanted 💙. It's beautiful and we're buying one for our 10yo daughter she loves it, she won't stay out of our bed. She no longer likes her sleigh bed "that SHE asked for & picked" lol. The bed is very easy to assemble, it's very sturdy it's not noisy and it's going on 3 years since we bought it. We measure and buy our own slats from Lowes and we use a box spring with the mattress. It's a great beautiful bed don't hesitate buying it you'll be highly disappointed if you do. I think I'll do Black this time cause she wants our Blue one🙄🫣😂

Okay so I’ve never ordered a bed online before and this experience was A1. If you’re a skeptical person like me, just order it lol. First off, I got it for a realllly great price (prices vary daily I’ve noticed) so if you see it for a great price, buy it bc chances are it will not be like that the next 24-48 hours ( I’ve witnessed) . Second, I appreciate the company’s consideration. Extra screws and washers and even 2 tools to help screw them on (for beginners or females with no tools such as myself) so big thumbs up for that. Not gonna lie it took me a couple hours because I took breaks (150lb female, had no help at the moment). It’s sturdy, elegant, and literally gives upscale-ish vibes. The color may be a little misleading. It’s like a greyish-blue. I’ve attached pics I hope you can see what I mean. No rips or tears upon arrival (my biggest concern) Overall, I would definitely buy it again s/o to meridian furniture for having the best yet affordable furniture on Amazon!! Oh and I got the queen size !
