Being March I cannot use this pool vacuum yet but I will give a preemptive review and update it later based currently on what I see from the unboxing. I'll update some time in June 2025. A little background first. I have a 15x30 above ground pool that is probably about 8 years old. I have a cartridge filter on my pool that works good but does not get all the fine silt and pollen that ends up in my pool and I assume everyone else's too. IT has always been a problem. I used to own an $800 robot that worked great on large particles but the filter bag was not fine enough for the sand and pollen that accumulated in various pockets on the bottom of the pool. I have used other robots that would not work either. The only thing that works somewhat but still not great is the vacuum attached to the main filter. Again that still only got rid of a small percent since it was recirculating through the filter and getting stirred up from all the commotion of using the difficult main filter vacuum. I really really hope this is the solution I have been looking for. .....And I like what I see out of the box. The InoKraft vacuum looks very very promising. It is very well built, comes with everything needed including the pole, and looks like great quality. The InoKraft vacuum comes with a telescoping pool somewhere around 6-7 feet when attached to vacuum. Also comes with the charger, the vacuum itself, vacuum head (which has wheels and a brush), 300 mesh filter, 500 mesh filter and an instruction book that is very well written. The InoKraft vacuum is 40 watts which seems like a nice high wattage when compared to my other cordless tools and landscaping equipment. It charges in a 1.5 hours and says it runs for 50-60 minutes. It needs to be used in at least approx. a foot of water. The filters look like they will actually really work for what Im looking for it to do, they are much finer filters than any vacuums or robots I have used. Much of the vacuum is clear plastic so using it seems like it will work good being able to see whats getting sucked up. It has a light that shows if it's charged, charging, 10% left, and clogged filter. Overall, not having used it yet, I am very impressed with the build, and ease of use. It is very easy to open and close to get the filter out, connect the pieces together and there is one on and off switch, It seems very simple to use. I get in my pool most time to clean it so this looks like it will work well for that and allow me to move around and not disturb the sediment until it's being vacuumed. Before I start, I wanted to explain why I got this vac and share some of the problems this one solved with the vac it is replacing. I have loved cordless tools from a major discount brand for close to 20 years. That company makes the most common handheld pool/spa vac, and mine has been nothing but problems ever since I purchased it, and now that they have discontinued it, you cannot get parts for it, so it has turned out to be a total waste of $249, which is what I paid for it nearly 4 years ago. Not to mention the 2 batteries it ruined because it leaks!! This vac works so well, that I will be dropping that green waste of money in the trash when I finish this review - for sure! So here is the GREAT NEWS for those that own the green pool vacs, or may be considering a purchase of one of the few still in stock online. DON'T DO IT, this one is significantly better. First this one comes with a removable and full adjustable handle, where the others I have seen, including the one I have require you to purchase a handle another $50 to $75 additional cost. And this handle worked well for my 14' long swim spa, so it should be fine for most pools except for very deep ones. Extra point InoKraft! The unit has its own fully waterproofed battery, so you do not need to use your tool batteries in and around water. Another extra point for InoKraft. This unit fully charged in under 90 minutes and had all the suction it needed to do the job with plenty to spare. I ran it for about 10 minutes and cleaned the floor of my spa in one pass. It had plenty of power and showed no signs of slowing down. This unit had no issue working partially out of the water without sucking air which is helpful when you try to clean up from debris that falls off the lid when you open the spa to clean it. One of the things I loved about this unit, that I really hated about my awful green one was the disturbance it created in the water that made it impossible to see the bottom due to all the wave distortion. This unit is very well designed and it pumps the water to the sides so there is virtually no distortion at all. A big plus for InoKraft! The sock filter is an excellent design feature of this unit. My prior cleaner had a small canister style filter to protect the pump, and a large capture container that is basically the bottom half of the unit that also needed to be cleaned and does not drain well. Huge plus InoKraft! Speaking of draining, this unit includes a drain port that drains all the water back into the spa/pool with no concern of debris going back in. Don't try that with the other vacs I have seen. The final thing is the size. This unit is compact, but more than powerful enough to do the job. The other unit I have is big, bulky, and full of leaks. I will definitely not miss it when it goes in the trash. I highly recommend this unit and I cannot say enough positive things about it after suffering so long with a substandard unit, like I had. ... show more
