At this point in time, this is a fantastic tool. I say this because of the free extended analysis and recommendation provided by the app on your phone. The tool collects the data and generates a report on your phone that is extremely helpful in diagnosing and repairing car problems. The tool itself is a very well made product with an easy to see display. Feels solid. It connects quickly and provides the scanner data that we expect to see when connected to the car. I am not a mechanic, but I am not afraid to dig into mildly complicated repairs and maintenance. I bought this tool when I had a check engine light come on during some rough engine idling. I suspected ignition coils. The tool scanned and reported a cylinder misfire, the data then transferred to my phone via Bluetooth. The app the generated a report which recommended replacing ignition coils and spark plug. This was spot on. After replacing the coils and spark plugs, the engine ran fine. I cleared the codes and the car has been running perfectly. I saved a thousand dollars on this repair. No joke. While tools like these are useful, the data they generate require experience to understand. This is where the app really shines. It cuts to the recommendation without having to understand all the nuances. Subsequently, I have taken some time to learn about scan tool modes and data from various YouTube videos and this has really enhanced the experience using this tool. Trust, but verify, you know. I am very satisfied with this scan tool and the free repair application. As long as the app remains free, this is a very useful tool. You can learn a lot and it works better than any other scan tool I have owned. Highly recommended.

Just got this beauty. Have not gotten to use it yet. The warranty process is very easy. We are getting the updater tool to ensure it has the updated firmware. Will Update once we have used it. This is an amazing bidirectional scan tool, it does everything I've asked it to do so far. The only issue I have is it's not very user friendly. Often times having to dig through menus upon menus to find what I need. Decently large in your hand, but not so big that it is awkward. For the price point I would definitely buy it again. (This one is advanced enough, and has enough features that it would work for a full-time mechanic)

It performed very well and aided me in diagnosing a tricky engine problem on my vehicle. Like other scan tools, the advanced tests are vehicle specific, but the live data capture and the Mode 6 tests were very useful. It doesn't do everything a $1,000 scan tool, but it's very capable and full-featured for it's price.

The scan tool arrived on time as promised. The only problem I had with the Scan Tool was that it would not connect to the up dating software that was downloaded to either my windows or MacBook computers. I did contact Innova and with in a day they sent an updated file to use on my windows computer. The scan tool did connect and no updates were needed. I was able to scan my vehicle and no codes or issues were found. Looking forward to using the scan tool to monitor my vehicles. I would recommend this for a person that works on their vehicles.

Finally! After spending hundreds of dollars on Launch and TopDon, I have found a tool that can reset the reluctant fill level on my 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500hd! I couldn't be happier about that but it's what I didn't expect that has me so excited! This tool isn't only lighter and easier to use physically, the menus and instructions are easily understood and comprehensive. The number of features this tool supports is insane, many which I hope I won't need. The companion app is just as impressive. It quickly Bluetooth paired with the device and gave me a simple but accurate report that even provided links to the replacement parts I need. I seriously couldn't be happier. Save your money and your sanity and get this one first or do what I EVENTUALLY did, contact each company separately and ask them which tool will specifically handle your function/module for your vehicle year, make, and model!!!
