  • This was just a badly wound spool
Color: Light Blue Size: 1.75mm
This is my favorite brand filament but this one spool I got was wound crappy It kept catching on its self and I'd have to restart the print and unwind some and keep restarting my print. Each time I hoped it would be the last but it did it through the whole spool. Only 1 other Inland spool did that to me and that was a spool someone gave me. ... show more

  • Excellent beginner or value filament!
Color: Black Size: 1.75mm
I have been purchasing Inland PLA filament since I purchased my Prusa printer 6-7 years ago. I originally purchased it at MicroCenter and have switched to Amazon for the convenience. The price is usually comparable, so much so, that I actually believe that MicroCenter is selling it through Amazon. The filament works well and feeds fine. It is wound onto the spool perfectly. I think the finish is great as well. It has a nice gloss look to it. I have had very few issues with bed adhesion and if I do, a little glue stick works to solve any problems. The black color itself really looks good and is my go-to color for test prints and hardware projects. For that reason, I always keep extra black material around. I use it on a Prusa Mk3 and run it at 215c and 60c on the bed. I get good adhesion and very little stringing. The price point is such that I also keep a lot of colors on hand so that I have them here and ready to go for any project that comes up. I do like the PLA+ a little better than the standard. Worth the little extra in cost in my opinion. Highly recommend Inland filament if you are just getting into 3D printing or you are looking for affordable alternative! ... show more

  • Much neater prints!
Color: Black Size: 1.75mm
Ever since I switched to this PLA+ filament, all my prints have been looking very sharp with very little stringing. For reference, I was using Sunlu PLA previously. Only note I see is that sometimes they aren't wound very neatly but has cause zero issues printing.

  • My go to filament.
Color: Black, 2 Pack Size: 1.75mm
Inland makes great consistent filament. Works for all my projects and have never had any issues with tangles or damaged packages upon arrival.

  • Having some nozzle clogging issues
Color: Brown Size: 1.75mm
It's a very nice brown, and the quality is generally very good. However I do keep running into nozzle clogging issues. At first I thought it was my Ender 3 having issues so I rebuilt the entire hot end assembly, it ran great for a while and then started clogging again. I'm going to try running some cleaning filament through it to save the nozzle but it's looking like this filament is going to run through nozzles. ... show more

  • Poor printing quality
Color: Black Size: 1.75mm
I am by no means a novice user of FDM or resin printers, I mistakenly bought this as I usually get Overture. Decided not to return and give it a shot, I find a very inconsistent extrusion trying at a variation of suggested temperatures as well as a little above and a below. I tried this filament on an ender V3 with a heated bed as well as a prusa x i3 also with a heated bed. The ender has a bowden extruder and the prusa is direct. Again, I have other filaments and they still work fine, this one simply did not produce the results that I'm used to. ... show more

  • Good prints, lots of snags
Color: Silver Size: 1.75mm
I was teetering on 3 stars here but the print quality was pretty solid. Positives Its not brittle and I’ve found the step up from PLA to plus helps that quite a bit. The rest is in feel which makes it tough to buy a reel and rely on feeling it once it arrives. I am hoping to find that brand soon. This one is close. The overall print turned out great but what was interesting is that I used PLA with the same settings for the same print and the base of the item printed better but in the print there were some minor spots that could be seen as weak filament. With this PLA + the base seemed to miss in some spots (same bed temp on both prints) but once that was printed the rest printed great. The big issue I have found is in how the filament is wound. There are many over/under areas where the filament was having to be pulled a bit into the extruder. It didn’t cause issue on this print but I also kept an eye on it every few hours (21 hour print). ... show more
