I love this blanket! The PVC is quite thick and good quality. The Velcro closure is quite wide and secure, I don’t expect it to wear out and I’ve never accidentally popped an elbow through while shifting. All of the cables are good quality- nothing feels like it’ll crack or fray or fall apart. The controls are quite simple and intuitive to use after a glance through the user manual. It gets up to a good temperature though it does take a little while if you’re going to the max. I’ve seen similar blankets with complaints of burn marks- no issues with this one. No weird smells, no burns, no melting. Cleaning is easy, just a quick wipe down. Once it has cooled I just fold it and put it in the closet, no fancy process required. There are a couple of things I’m not crazy about but they’re relatively minor overall and perhaps more nitpicky than anything else. Some may be important to potential purchasers though so here’s what bugged me: -There’s no alert to let you know your time is up. Since the blanket is used while lying down I typically can’t see the control box with the remaining time on it. It would be nice to know when the time is up. Since it started bothering me I’ve taken to setting a timer on my phone or telling Alexa to set one for me. -The blanket could be a little longer. I’m 5’ 6” and my feet are right at the end if I’m tucked in up to my neck (full disclosure: my chest is on the larger side so I’m sure that distorts the length a bit), it would be nice to have an extra inch or two of wiggle room at the toes though. Anyone taller may have to bend their knees a little. There’s plenty of room side-to-side though so that’s great. -At the neck/shoulder it would be nice to have Velcro on the flaps that are sewn on to help keep the heat in. They tend to flop around without anything to secure them and that does allow heat to escape (Tucking them doesn’t work for me). This one definitely bothers me. Some stick on Velcro could probably fix this though so again, not a huge deal. Overall a really great product, especially for the price. I definitely recommend it. It’s my favorite way to unwind after a long day or relax after an intense workout.

UPDATE 12/12/21 The sent me another one, because the first one melted. The one they sent doesn't even get warm enough to sweat, even after 60 minutes on the highest setting. Super disappointing. This is really high quality construction of the blanket, seems to be able to withstand many years of regular use, also did not offgas toxic plastic smell. It is intended for shorter people as it does not cover my whole body and I am 5’6. UnFortunately, temperature control unit doesn’t feel as well crafted and it is confusing trying to get the settings correct. The worst thing is the right side has blinked on and off since I got it and now will only go up to 35 out of 70. Very disappointing and Have not been able to get in touch through a “Contact seller” option on Amazon website nor has Amazon gotten back to me after attempting to contact the seller. Me to update this review once it has been resolved

I was just about to write a positive review when the stitches holding the Velcro in place gave way. I am attempting to fix on my sewing machine. Fingers crossed. I was using as a giant heating pad. Helpful for reducing my arthritis pain and I did have more energy. I bought this item because of all the melted zippers with other products. Zigzagging the Velcro will hopefully prevent this from reoccurring. The top will need to be stitched by hand to avoid the heating coils.

A very very vey basssd . It was 110 volt Once i stsart use it it bern 😡 it was very dangerous for my bayby and all family . Why didi not write at the dictiptions ❌ I sent ti the sailer and he answer me soryy the item ispecial for inside use😳 and how you by it ☹️ I looose my money 😩

I turned on the blanket as and as the blanket started to warm up the cord started to heat up and melt. There was no fuses in the box. I need a cord
