I'd never heard the term "steampunk" before, I just knew that when I saw the picture it was the clock that I wanted to hang on the wall. My wife and I have been updating a couple of room in our home with fresh paint, new carpeting, new furniture, ceiling fans, etc. I have an antique "banjo" clock which I had planned to hang but have discovered it is falling apart and I'm not going to spend the dough to repair it again. This wall clock has a much fresher, updated kind of vibe. It's even better looking on the wall than in the photos! In fact I love it so much that I bought a second for another room (of different color) which is to arrive in a couple of days. My clock arrived well packed and in perfect condition. It came with a second set of hands which are pretty delicate so be careful removing them from the box. One set of hands was already attached to the dial. You are going to need three AA batteries to power the clock mechanism and the gear box. My clock is just about totally silent in operation. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase and recommend it to anyone appreciating the aesthetic of this type of wall clock. As an addendum, I purchased a second clock, this one in Copper and it too is beautiful. Unfortunately though, I am having to have the second one replaced because it won't keep time. The gears work but the hands won't stay attached. I'm sure it's not the sellers fault but a brand new clock should work out of the box, especially when a product is on the pricier side. The new one should arrive tomorrow and I expect for it to be just fine. I would still recommend this clock to anybody. Update: The replacement copper colored clock arrived and it too was damaged. So in summary, the first clock in silver arrived in perfect condition. It works just fine and included a second pair of hands enclosed in styrofoam for protection. Neither of the copper colored clock had the additional hands and they both arrived seemingly having been repackaged as if returned previously. They weren't packed nearly as tight in the box as the silver clock. They are beautiful clocks but with mangled hands they don't work. I have arranged a return for both and ordered a very similar clock from another seller on Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. The clock came very well packaged and was easy to set up. However, after it had been running for several hours, the hands were too close together and got stuck. Had to remove from the wall and adjust the hands so that they would stay clear of each other and move properly. Now, however, after about two weeks, it has developed the noise that a lot of other reviewers have talked about. It is a high-pitched, grinding noise from the gears. It is not constant, but comes about every 15 seconds or so and last for about 15 seconds. Very irritating. I guess now I will contact the manufacturer through Amazon as they suggested to try to find the best remedy for this problem. It is right on our kitchen wall right underneath where we sit and I cannot live with this noise. I hope to have a satisfactory remedy soon .

The package arrived on time, the clock came in a perfectly sealed box and bundled securely. As I opened the package the additional handle Ms fell off along with product instructions. The color texture was spot on as advertised, I really liked the design however the handles are loose and you can tell it’s a very poor quality for the money that I paid. After 2 days it started to run faster 15 mins all of a sudden. I was hoping for good functionality but didn’t get that. Hopefully I can return this terrible product.

I have been looking for a quality, exceptionally quiet, show room quality clock, for several months. Finally, a quality clock with moving gears that doesn’t overpower the artwork, that doesn’t sound louder than the ambient noise in the house, is both steampunk and tech, it’s classy and badass. I only wish they made different sizes, so that I could buy them for more places like my office, my workshop, production, studio and radio station, the list goes on and on… point is, this is the one you want, and if you know anyone else into, clean steam punk style stuff, they’ll dig this one A+ plus

I would have given this clock a 5 star because it is a great looking clock, made well, has substance to it and works just fine,,, except for the humming coming from the turning gears. I posted a video so if you can put your volume up you will hear the high pitched hum. At night when we are trying to sleep you hear it and it’s quite annoying unless you wear ear plugs. We are going to have to put it in a different room, not as intended. Color is great, timing is great ,, just the hummmmmm! So completely quiet it is not. I can hear it in our master bathroom from the bedroom.
