Very cheap feeling, light plastic...BUT it looks FANTASTIC. Very 50's. Fits my kitchen perfectly. Accurate color. Easy to read. I've only had it up a day but the time seems to be okay. Larger hole in the back for hanging it on a nail, so it's easier to "find it" while trying to hang it up. Quality is a little low for a gift, but for me it will do fine. :) ... show more

Nice looking retro style clock for our mid-century home. It did not come in the color that we wanted to have in our kitchen, RED. but this clock was easily repainted. There are six screws on the back and then the chrome ring and the glass will easily come off We trimmed a paper plate to fit over the face when we sprayed. EDIT: I WROTE TO THE COMPANY ABOUT THE CLOCK JUST GIVING UP AFTER ONE YEAR. THEY WROTE BACK IMMEDIATELY SAYING THERE IS A ONE-YEAR WARRANTY. THEY HAVE SHIPPED OUT A NEW CLOCK! SO, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’LL INCREASE THE STARS TO 3 AND SEE IF THE NEW CLOCK WORKS FOR MORE THAN A YEAR. Great retro look. Too bad the dang thing stopped working less than a year after purchase.
