I bought this chair to sleep in because of my back issues. It is very comfortable and supports my small body frame well and can be adjusted to many different configurations The heater is invaluable . I don’t use the massage unit only because I never liked any chair massage unit. My only small complaint is that it is very slow to change positions. Guess I should just slow down and enjoy the ride 😊 This is a beautiful chair !! I bought the cream colored one and it looks so nice in my bedroom . I love it !! My daughter carried it upstairs and put it together by herself in less than 30 minutes. We are all very happy with this purchase.

I was able to get the remote controls switched for a left handed person, thank goodness. Problem: I’m 5 ft 3 inches but I think the footrest is a bit short for me in the raised position. I try scooting back in the seat (with difficulty) but somehow my feet dangle over the raised footrest. The controls work fine. I wonder, however, what I might do if I’m in the reclining, raised foot position and the power goes out….??? And as a handicap person, with one hand, what would I do if I lost the remote (on the left side) when in a reclining position ?

This chair compares to Lazy Boy leather chair that my neighbor paid 1800.00 for. The leather is gorgeous, and assembly was easy. I can see how some might have trouble with the arm rest as it does take a bit of muscle to slide the locking pins (they screw into the arm rest piece itself) into the chair - you have to really push the pins forward, like I said, with a lot of muscle. Once properly inserted, I don't see them easily coming off with general use. The only thing I wish was different would be if they had a separate button for the 'lift' portion. It is connected to the button that lowers the leg rest so if you go too far, in addition to lowering the leg rest you are raising the chair before you know it. That said, this is not a jet plane and movement is certainly not speedy, so it can be easily controlled but should be considered if the chair is to be used for the elderly who might have memory issues and not fully understand or they could end up on the floor, slipping right out from the beautiful smooth leather. My husband and I got it for my father-in-law who recently had a stroke that left him extremely physically unstable. Not only do we feel this is a good fit for him, but we are considering purchasing another one for us! FYI- if you are over 5'10" this chair might not be the chair for you. For us, we find the width and seat depth quite nice - my husband said it fit him perfectly and he is 5'10".

I bought this to replace a single motor recliner that I liked but wouldn't lay flat. Assembly Pretty straight forward. Slip the back on, install armrests, all cables only go where they need to. Instruction booklet not really necessary although I looked to find out where the 2 "extra" feet go. Operation/performance When I first sat in it, I felt like there was something 'not right'. I'm 5' 10" and when I sit all the way back, my feet are 5" off the floor. There's no base height adjustment except for the leveling feet which were screwed all the way in. Reclining works but really slow. It takes 14 seconds for the foot section to go from fully closed to its fully horizontal position. Same for the back. No way to adjust the speed. Also when you go "fully flat", you're not really flat. Sure, the back goes horizontal but the seat section is higher toward the knees than the butt so you're never flat. That doesn't change going horizontal. The remote is strange. It's wired but has a hook on the back that you hook to a fabric loop on the side. When you recline, that loop is out of reach and hard to see. I'm stuck laying the remote over the armrest. Even upright, it's a pain hanging it back up. Massage works great. I like that it's vibration not airbags. There's 9 buttons. Power, heat, intensity, mode, 4 zones and a duration toggle. I really don't like the remote. When you hit power, it defaults to high intensity, auto mode, all 4 zones on, and 15 min duration. I've got to hit a bunch of buttons to switch to low intensity, pressure mode, turn off 3 zones and switch to an hour duration AND, when times expires and it shuts off, it doesn't save the settings. I've got to go change everything again when I hit the power button. When everything IS set, it's great though. USB ports are meh...low capacity charging. There are no cup holders so if you're reclined, say watching TV or whatever and need to sip your beer, you've got to find the remote and raise the back (slowly) to reach anything on the end table. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of this chair. It's actually well made, just not really thought out. Well, this thing just timed out so I've got to go reset everything again. Hope this review helps.
