    • Impressive for the price with a couple minor caveats
Very impressive for the price - plenty of storage and style. The green isn't as saturated in person which is a good thing. Assembly can be done by one fit/able-bodied person, but it would certainly be a lot easier with two. Was able to put it together in a couple hours on my own. The build quality is surprisingly solid and the cushions are comfy but a bit too firm to be considered plush (a positive in my book). The back cushions could be a bit thicker, but nothing some throw pillows can't handle. The instruction manual can be confusing at times, but that's to be expected when ordering one of these budget brands shipped straight from China. My two "gripes" are as follows: 1. The built in chargers will have your phone to 100% in no less than 5 hours (charging is extremely slow, not fast charging). This is a bit of a bummer as they're featured prominently in the arms, but at the end of the day I bought a couch not an outlet. 2. The couch is relatively light for its size meaning it can be dragged forward when extending the bed portion which is a bit of an annoyance, but not enough of one for me to dislike the couch or detract from the 5 stars. I am very satisfied. I tried ordering from other suppliers, merchants, and even big brand businesses and none could deliver! LITERALLY! 3 months of back and forth! I was trying to save on the shipping, but it was all pointless. I wish I would have bought from here originally! I got the couch 3 days early because I was so close to the shipping location. It was pretty easy to assemble, just take your time with the instructions. Everything works as it should and the additional storage!? WHOA! Big space saver! So happy with that! It’s a firm couch, so strongly consider it if you prefer something softer. It could use some more stuffing so I’ll probably buy some of that. For the price and all the BS that I experienced, at no fault of the Amazon seller, I am a happy buyer.     • Simple, comfy, not sure how sturdy

TLDR: We love this couch. Color, storage, and the pull-out part are all great. Assembly is easy, able to be done alone with some effort or with two and not much effort. It's gotten a lot less firm over only two months, though. Assembly: I put the whole thing together (almost entirely) myself in less than 90 minutes. There is one part in assembly that is very difficult alone, but otherwise it was really very straightforward. It's nice that it can be assembled with the chaise on either side. Built-in charging: The charger ports in the couch are painfully slow, but I suppose they work well enough if you really can't have your phone more than a few feet from you. They connect to outlets via embedded cords inside the couch, one on each side. I have unplugged the one on my side so I can use the full outlet for actually useful electronics. Sturdiness: We've had the couch just about two months, and while we are very stay-in-and-watch-TV people, the couch cushions are already starting to bow more than I'd like. It was firm-ish but comfortable to start. It's still comfortable, but my partner has back issues and I worry that it may not provide enough support soon. ... show more

UPDATE - after a month is gotten worse. I lowered the stars. We just can't get comfortable. I went to sit down on it to write this review and when I placed my knee on the couch to climb on I felt the bar right on my knee that took my breath away in pain. In doing my best to return this item but because it arrived in 3 large boxes and several small boxes I've been trying to work with the seller to return. I will say the storage is great but not for every day use. Not comfy. Lesson learned go to the store to try it out FIRST. UPDATE - after owning this a few weeks now. Down to 3 stars. Here are our thoughts. The cushions are extremely thin. You can feel the back bar. Our fear is if you lean back or a heavy person leans back the back brace will break. The butt cushions are not that great either. I did buy decorative pillows that we can use to also lay on but this couch is not gonna last. We do love the storage but that's truly the only thing we love about the couch. Also a few days ago, I went to move the couch and it felt like something cracked or snapped. We love this concept of this couch. We think it's perfect for someone starting out like a college person. Kids will jump and this couch will. Not. Last. Not sure what we are going to do. Seems like a pain to return as I had tons of tiny parts to put on to make the couch snap together. ************ First thoughts upon receiving this item. 4 star. I just received these boxes today, three of them. I was able to drag them inside and open them up and lay out all the pieces. It's a lot more pieces than I thought. Please be sure to read the directions carefully. I cannot stress that enough. I was able to put this couch together completely by myself, and it took approximately 3 to 3.53 hours. Had I received some help to hold some parts together?I could have shaved off at least an hour. I agree that the cushions on the back.Part definitely need more stuffing. I will be making a trip to the craft store within the next week or 22 make them a little more fluffy. We needed a couch that was going to last us a few more years before we decide to retire, and this was the perfect choice. I can do a better review after some actual use. ... show more
