Itll fit your SC but, the boots are wrong. Any other Element is fine, but the boots need a little heat and manipulation to seat properly. Also the weight rating is skewed, it’s maybe 100# before you see the bars flex.

    • The rubber gasket is not sized correctly.
It feels sturdy and is easy to install. the rubber gasket does not fit. The size and shape are wrong.

    • They do their job!
Great bars that fit well into the factory mounts. One issue is the hard rubber boots were slightly deformed and didn't fit the roof holes they are supposed to cover. They cover fairly well though. The temps are cold and maybe when they get warm they will be more pliable and I'll be able to get a better fit. This does not affect the function at all but more cosmetic. ... show more

Bought these for my 2004 Honda Element. They are sturdy and well built for the money. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the rubber guard is way off on its measurement. If that was close or better I would give 5.

    • Hardware is terrible. No instructions. Pictures on the buyers site are incorrect.
The rubber base gasket is ill fitting due to 3 oversized castings on the mounting tower. The hardware to attach the rail to the mounting towers simply does not work. The plate supplied does not fit into the slot provided and the threading on the plate in SAE and the bolt is metric. I had to buy all new hardware for the rails . Additionally the page labeled instructions was noting more than a picture of what was provided. It took 3 try's to figure out the right mounting tower to use based on a asymmetric cross member extrusion. Picture on the web page show the front cross member on the rear mounting towers. The advertisement indicates that the rack can support 150 lbs. The front cross member indicates 75 lbs. That may be for each cross member but it is not qualified. All of that said for those of us faced with an OEM option for our Elements this is still a good buy. A bit of patience and some ingenuity will pay off. ... show more
