It’s a little medium hard but I expect this on smaller bags. The zipper is long enough to open the bag wide to place items. With my tender loving care, I will own this for years. This bag is very attractive, but it's stiff and hard. Its stiffness and inflexibility make it difficult to hold open when placing items in or taking them out. There are two pockets inside, but a phone pocket would have been helpful.
