Wish I'd gotten this before. Had 4 rusted in sway bar bolts that even techs said they usually break off. All 4 came out. Two were heated on the nut side and two on the bolt head side. They are XZN type and even a 30" breaker bar didn't budge them last year with no heat. I got them free with this induction tool in about 2 hrs with an 18" breaker bar on two and the other two came out with a standard ratchet. Ruined the 3cm coil so its only got a few more uses so I'll order some replacements. Seems reliable enough, easy to use, great value. I'll suggest wearing welders or high heat gloves. I have both so I wore them the entire time. I also made a wooden prop to lay the tool on while its cooling. ... show more

After struggling with the bolts on my front shocks I decided to splurge and buy this tool. BOY did it make the difference, it took me about 1.5hrs to get all the nuts/bolts off from my rusted up rear shock absorbers. Out of the box worked great and heated up incredibly fast. For the money can’t be beat. It’s not at all sleek or thin, but who cares if it works and you can bend the wires as you see fit. Plus it brings several sizes. Not noisy - unsure of its longevity but only time will tell. And with the rust bucket I own it’ll be put to the test! ... show more

This thing is crazy! I'm disassembling a 1970 truck and everything is frozen on. I am shocked at how well it frees up the bolts and how quickly it does it. Even got body panels without burning the paint!

Worked GREAT! had to remove a rotting transmission crossmember on a 06 grand cherokee, being in the rust belt, the bolts were really rusted in there, even starting to rot. This heated the bolts up and it easily freed the bolts. Only downside is the coils start to go out after being heated for so long. Will have to buy new ones. ... show more

This is a tool you don’t know you need it until you try it. Easy to use and great price. I’ve used it on 3/4 nut that I figured I would be cutting off but heated it up great and quickly. Negative mine only came with one wing bolt to hold the coil in place but found a scrap bolt to put in

Useless for any serious work

Quality is horrible Power is rather weak and takes forever to heat anything larger than a needle quickly. The heating elements fall apart. And burn before the bolt gets high enough and the metal they are made of got discolored. And warped… I don’t know if I got a bad one but if this is their standard quality then you should keep s far away from it as possible . Go to Temu and buy it for 1/5 of the cost. There you get 8 pieces or heating elements and replacements are 1/10 the cost . I don’t recommend it at all ... show more

Worth the investment.

I was a little apprehensive on this wasn’t sure how well it was gonna work used it to remove strut bolts on a 19 year-old vehicle had to heat them up three times works really well not bad for the price 1300 Watts. Works really well on the smaller bolts, heat them up for about a minute and they break feed with no problem. ... show more
