Worked pretty good. After 21 days my eggs are hatched. I read previously to buying this that controlling the humidity was a little hard, and it is, but it got old after messing with it the 1st three days So i let it be and see what would happen. Also, after first egg hatches you want to take the rack out so it doesn't harm your chick's, or at least that's what I did. Finally, there isn't a breather hole to let some air in after chick's hatch, so I lifted lid and stuck a paperclip on one side to let some airflow for hatched eggs. Other than that, me and my kids had fun hatching eggs. We will keep using this contraption until it no longer works.

The instructions were vague at most but just do your research and look up a lot on this model and what to watch out for and it absolutely works without a problem! I bought 12 quail eggs and 8 of them of hatched so far. Really nice design too. I was able to to slide it under my bed so it was out of the way. I would recommend this for the beginner egg hatcher lol.

I think it's this type of incubator that is not good to hatch eggs. Only 1 egg hatched from 12. The rest stopped developing halfway. Also, this incubator requires you to refill the water bottle for humidity, I keep thinking that this isn't helping the eggs hatched because the temperature is too hot(?) But who knows, I'm just following by the book. Two other person also bought this incubator and they were only able to hatched 2 and 3 eggs, the rest stopped developing too. Another thing is, the machine turns the eggs so if eggs hatched during the night, the baby chick's leg would get caught in the double layered plastic that holds the eggs to turn. Why do I think it is the incubator? Because another person bought a different incubator that has been discontinued and theirs hatched almost all their eggs, 24 eggs, and for many years now. It also doesn't require the water humidifier, and their temperature is also lower throughout the process of incubation. I am not an expert, but just seeing this makes me doubt the machine. I'm a bit traumatized by this experiment LOL. Not sure if I want to do it again next time using this incubator.

The media could not be loaded. For the people reviewing saying it doesn’t auto turn it 100% does. I work from home, it’s right by me and I’ve seen it turn 4-5 times a day. It does it once upon plugging up and multiple times late in the day. Do not worry. So far so good. Will update once my quail has hatched; update quails hatched! I had no problems controlling temp and humidity. just be sure to add warm water in the bottle elevate the bottle to be on an equal level with incubator. I kept my temp between 37.7 and 38.0. I only had to refill every 5 days. It does the job for a great price. Bought 12 eggs 11 hatched!

Heat is consist humidity is a bit harder to regulate but I think that’s the case for most incubators. Love the bubble design so we can watch the entire process. Candler is nice to have attached. I put 8 duck eggs in it and 7 hatched the one that didn’t ended up never being fertilized I cracked it on day 6 to confirm. So overall it worked well! I took two stars off because the plug doesn’t actually plug in it just kind of sits very flimsily into the incubator and any small bump it falls off and the incubator shuts off which is obviously a big issue especially if you don’t notice immediately. It turned off a handful of times when I used the candler just from the slight movement on the top of the incubator. Hopefully it was just a one time issue for the incubator that I ended up with and it’s not like this for all of them. If this wasn’t an issue I’d give it 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. Safego Egg Incubator 12-24 did a great job! It hatched all the fertile eggs. Two of the twelve eggs did show any growth inside when candled, so they were removed. The remaining ten eggs hatched with no problems. Be sure to keep the packing styrofoam, as it is used as insulation to provide better temperature control for the incubator. I did keep a eye on it during hatching removing empty egg shells. Allowing more room for the chicks to move around. Not very roomy, It is a compact unit. The temperature is in Celsius, not Fahrenheit as you would find in US. You can refer to our pictures

It's okay. I used for 2 broods now and my hatch rate is only about 50-60%. It is easy to use, but temperature only reads out in Celsius so for me that made it tougher. It's a little loud, the humidity was easy to keep consistent. It's lacking directions. They said very little. I know the egg turner worked, but have no idea how many times a day it turned.
