  • Two dozen!
I was in the market for a good incubator since my chickens started laying eggs. After finding this one, I am really pleased and happy with the product. It keeps humidity levels and heats levels as well as rotating them for me. My daughter loves watching the chicks grow. Not to mention it hold two dozen eggs! ... show more

  • Solid incubator with useful flexibility for mixed egg sizes
I tested this incubator with chicken eggs and found it to be a practical option for small‑scale hatching. One feature I appreciated is the adjustable dividers, which make it easy to set up different sizes of chicken eggs in the same run. This flexibility worked well overall, though I did notice that the dividers can pop out if the tray is packed tightly. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but it’s something to be aware of when loading it. I was able to get 24 whiting and a double yolk super jumbo brown with room on this test, so it can hatch what it says it can, storage wise. The included candler is functional for basic checks, though it’s not as bright or precise as a standalone unit. For quick viability checks, it gets the job done. it has been quiet until the humidity runs outside the upper and lower thresholds. I can sometimes hear it from another room and it is placed in the living room. Temperature and humidity control stayed consistent throughout my testing, and the automatic turning operated smoothly. I think this is a good value for a small incubator. Overall, it’s a good incubator with thoughtful features, especially for mixed‑size egg setups, with just a few small quirks to keep in mind. ... show more

  • Easy to use, largely automated
Save the packaging foam! After doing a trial setup and looking at the instructions, they mention the insulation foam. Fortunately, mine was still around and wasn't broken, generally that kind of foam gets broken and tossed quickly. Realistically tho, it says to use it if the room temperatures are in the 60's, so maybe not a essential item, but I would suggest that especially towards the lower end of even the 70's the overall performance would likely be improved by using the foam insulation. And yes the foam is especially designed for in-use operation, with cutouts for the water bottles, some clear viewing areas. I have never run an incubator before, so my opinion on this item is not from the voice of experience. This includes a thermostat controlled heating and fan, as well as manual humidity, basically 1 or 2 pools of water at the bottom. Use only 1 for lower humidity or both for higher. Note, tho that the humidity is electronically monitored, with a digital display and an alarm if you want. I put some eggs in for a trial test, the main tray has a inner tray with adjustable dividers for different size eggs, you could run multiple sizes at the same time as long as you would place them in different divider rows. With the size of chicken eggs I had, expect only a 18 egg capacity. Built in candler for viewing the fertility of the eggs. You could also use a good flashlight, but this is convenient and is always right there. Once the weather warms up, I hope to get some eggs in there for hatching and will update if I see any problems. The one thing that concerns me just a little is the egg rolling, during the rotation cycle it rolls from one end to the other and back to the exact place it was before, so while the egg does get a 180 degree roll in that process, its back to original spot every time. Maybe a voice of experience will tell me that isn't an issue, I don't know. For now, a recommended buy. ... show more

  • Terrible incubator!
I would give zeros stars if I could. Three days into hatch the entire thing stopped working. Quit ready humidity properly, the fan quit spinning and it became very physically hot to the touch but no longer heating inside. Beware! I think this was about to be a fire hazard. Now I have three dozen very expensive eggs that may be ruined. Do not buy! ... show more

  • Not 24 large eggs
This 24-egg incubator works well, but in practice, I was only able to fit about 18 eggs comfortably. That said, it’s reliable and maintains a consistent temperature and humidity, which is exactly what you need for successful hatching. The digital controls are easy to use, and the incubator feels sturdy and well-made. It’s a good choice if you don’t mind running a slightly smaller batch than advertised. ... show more

  • Cute and less rough on eggs!
I was super excited to get this style of incubator (one that pushes back and fourth rather than fully rotates) since rotating in the same direction can cause mid to late stage quitters. It was easy to set up - but I plugged it in to get it to temp first before testing the rotation - and when I did nothing happened. Well there was a piece I was supposed to put on that I didn’t because why would I read the instructions. So don’t make that mistake! Its a little oval with a pin poking out each side basically. Super easy to put on, once you know about it. The egg rotation worked, so woo! Time to put eggs in! Well, I didn’t notice on my test that it pushes the eggs to the end and then pulls them back - basically making them land in the same spot they started in…. So I’m hoping I don’t lose all the eggs I put in there (6 silkie, 12 frizzle, three bym and 3 turkey). The temperature holds stable according to a probe thermometer so at least we are good there! I am anxious to see what my hatch rate looks like in a few weeks! ... show more

  • Automatic settings
This is a high quality egg incubator. It can fit a lot of eggs in it at once so that you can hatch many eggs all at once instead of a few at a time. It has a corrall to keep all the eggs together and the incubator automatically turns the eggs. There is also an automatic temp control and humidity control. The entire thing is also see through so that you can keep an eye on the eggs while they are in there. I believe this egg incubator is well worth the cost of value. ... show more

  • Good deal
Best incubator I've got, easy to set up and works great, everything you need except for the fertile eggs. And the price was cheaper than most others
