I tested this incubator with chicken eggs and found it to be a practical option for small‑scale hatching. One feature I appreciated is the adjustable dividers, which make it easy to set up different sizes of chicken eggs in the same run. This flexibility worked well overall, though I did notice that the dividers can pop out if the tray is packed tightly. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but it’s something to be aware of when loading it. I was able to get 24 whiting and a double yolk super jumbo brown with room on this test, so it can hatch what it says it can, storage wise. The included candler is functional for basic checks, though it’s not as bright or precise as a standalone unit. For quick viability checks, it gets the job done. it has been quiet until the humidity runs outside the upper and lower thresholds. I can sometimes hear it from another room and it is placed in the living room. Temperature and humidity control stayed consistent throughout my testing, and the automatic turning operated smoothly. I think this is a good value for a small incubator. Overall, it’s a good incubator with thoughtful features, especially for mixed‑size egg setups, with just a few small quirks to keep in mind.

Bought this incubator because I needed a larger one. I hatch quail and this has a good capacity (about 50 or so eggs taking into account space for thermometer/hygrometer). However, this incubator has been all over the place in regards to both temperature and humidity. I have the temperature set to 102F and it fluctuates anywhere from 98.3 to 101.2 at egg level even with the styrofoam. The humidity was also too high with bottle A in. It was about 65% most of the time with both vents open when I typically aim for about 40-45%. I ended up taking the bottle out and adding 2 tablespoons of water twice a day and that seemed to work better for me. There’s also an issue with the turning that may only apply to smaller eggs. I ended up having about 1/4 my eggs pipping from the pointy end. I suspect this may be because the egg wasn’t turned properly or got stuck pointy end up. I’ve never had this issue before with any other incubator. Maybe if the eggs were heavier, like chicken eggs, this won’t be an issue. All in all, I think this would function better as a dedicated hatcher rather than incubator. The basket provides a nice wall to prevent chicks that aren’t quite dry from escaping while you take the dry ones out but it wasn’t good for incubation. I experienced more delayed hatchers than usual and my hatch rate was about 10% lower than usual using this incubator.

I was in the market for a good incubator since my chickens started laying eggs. After finding this one, I am really pleased and happy with the product. It keeps humidity levels and heats levels as well as rotating them for me. My daughter loves watching the chicks grow. Not to mention it hold two dozen eggs!

I would give zeros stars if I could. Three days into hatch the entire thing stopped working. Quit ready humidity properly, the fan quit spinning and it became very physically hot to the touch but no longer heating inside. Beware! I think this was about to be a fire hazard. Now I have three dozen very expensive eggs that may be ruined. Do not buy!

I’ve been using this egg incubator for a short time, and it’s fairly easy to set up and operate. The automatic egg turning works consistently, and the temperature control seems reasonably stable during use. The clear lid makes it easy to monitor the eggs without opening the unit. It also includes a built-in candling light, which is useful for basic checks, though visibility depends on lighting conditions. Humidity control is fairly simple but works for general use. For better accuracy, I’d still recommend using a separate thermometer or hygrometer. Overall, this is a practical option for beginners or small batches, especially if you’re just getting started.
