I recently tried this MEMTIM incubator and I’m quite impressed with the high quality of its build; it feels very durable and well-made. The 360° visibility is a standout feature, making it so much more exciting to watch the process. What makes this even better is that the quantity and spacing can be easily adjusted according to the size of the eggs, which is incredibly convenient. Bought this incubator because I needed a larger one. I hatch quail and this has a good capacity (about 50 or so eggs taking into account space for thermometer/hygrometer). However, this incubator has been all over the place in regards to both temperature and humidity. I have the temperature set to 102F and it fluctuates anywhere from 98.3 to 101.2 at egg level even with the styrofoam. The humidity was also too high with bottle A in. It was about 65% most of the time with both vents open when I typically aim for about 40-45%. I ended up taking the bottle out and adding 2 tablespoons of water twice a day and that seemed to work better for me. There’s also an issue with the turning that may only apply to smaller eggs. I ended up having about 1/4 my eggs pipping from the pointy end. I suspect this may be because the egg wasn’t turned properly or got stuck pointy end up. I’ve never had this issue before with any other incubator. Maybe if the eggs were heavier, like chicken eggs, this won’t be an issue. All in all, I think this would function better as a dedicated hatcher. The basket provides a nice wall to prevent chicks that aren’t quite dry from escaping while you take the dry ones out but it wasn’t good for incubation. I experienced more delayed hatchers and my hatch rate was about 10% lower than usual. Update: 6 chicks with FTT died within a few days of hatch and 2 cases of curl toes. I’ve only had one case of FTT all season with my other incubators and my brooder setup is exactly the same for every hatch so the environmental fluctuations in the incubator definitely created much weaker chicks.

This incubator does the job and has most of the features I like to see, especially for someone newer to hatching eggs. It has automatic turning, temperature and humidity controls, a built-in candler, air vents, and the water bottle setup, so functionality-wise it covers the basics and then some. Ease of use is mostly good once everything is set up. The controls are not hard to understand, and temperature control has been solid for me. It holds temperature well, which is one of the most important things with any incubator. Humidity had some minor fluctuations, but nothing outside of what I would consider normal for a small incubator. Humidity is always a little dependent on the room conditions anyway. The fit is where I had one of my frustrations. The egg dividers work, but it is hard to tell exactly which line to use when aligning them. I found myself missing the correct spot and having to readjust until the eggs sat right. I wish the tray had clearer markings or numbered lines so setup would be faster and less annoying. The other thing I did not love is the water bottle system once chicks start hatching. After hatch starts, the water inside the bottles can get dirty, almost like some of the mess flows back into the bottle. It still works, but it is something I noticed and would want to clean carefully between hatches. Durability seems fine so far, but I have not used it long enough to say how it will hold up over many hatches. The build feels acceptable for this type of incubator, and for the current price range, I think the value for money is good. It is not perfect, but it has the main features beginners need, holds temperature well, and gets the job done.
