Haven't had any chicks yet. It is easy to set up and use. I have no idea if this is going to work or not, but we have high hopes. Right now my children and I are excited and getting ready to be chicken farmers.

I am absolutely thrilled with this 18-egg incubator! As someone relatively new to hatching, I was looking for something reliable, easy to use, and versatile, so I found this one in my search, I was convinced and bought it. In the few days that I've been using it, I can say that it has many qualities, including: I like that it's compact, it's easy to set up and use, it maintains ideal temperature and humidity levels, and it's easy to clean. I also like the automatic egg-turning system; with this, I don't have to worry about doing it by hand. I loved it, and I highly recommend it!

Having used this chicken egg incubator, humidity has been easy to manage. I used this incubator for lockdown and it worked very well. The only thing I would change would be to remove my chicks to the brooder rather than leaving them in incubator. Because they often tripped over eggs, I did my best to ensure the safety of the chicks. The success rate of my first hatching was astonishing. To ensure safety, I only put in 12 eggs, To my surprise, all the eggs hatched into chicks normally,100% hatch rate! I It is perfect to use the incubator as a temporary insulation chamber after the egg fruits have hatched. The chicks have enough space to move freely and won't be very crowded. Shortly after the first successful hatching, one of the chicks unfortunately passed away. I was very sad, but this might be inevitable. I tried many methods, but to no avail. Fortunately, the remaining 11 chicks all survived safely. The experience I can offer regarding the operation of the incubator is that there is no need to fill the water bottles too full, They free feed into the bottom of the incubator and lowering humidity can be a struggle. The little vent that can be opened or closed needs a second one, as I did find it hard to lower humidity a couple of times, even with the vent all the way open. The incubator operates relatively quietly most of the time,But on a quiet night, the beeping sound can be heard and you can turn if off if you have to remove the lid for awhile or put down on the carpet so that the area under the thermometer warms up still. I'm very satisfied with this. In fact, I'm considering that when I hatch multiple chicken breeds, I can sort and arrange them. Maybe I can hatch them simultaneously.

I purchased this incubator for the ability to hatch out duck eggs. I had 8 fertilized duck eggs and was able to use the goose egg turner. The automatic egg turning is a lifesaver! It completely takes the stress and guesswork out of having to remember to turn the eggs multiple times a day. Knowing the eggs are consistently turned gives great peace of mind. Setup was easy. I loved that there is a lip on the bottom so I don't have to worry about eggs rolling off! Clean up was also easy because the motor is detachable and can be brushed off with provided brush and everything else is washable. The price for this model is fair. This is now my favorite incubator!
