The timer on the pump runs much better than a separate timer. You just push a button for 4, 8, 12 or 24 hours and it goes on and off very nice. The noise level is better than my old Blue Torrent. I purchased a 1.5 HP and keeps my 14,000 gallon pool nice and clean.

We bought it and installed it this weekend. The noise level at this point is low. The install was easy. We had to have a friend help us that was just more handy. We have a 27,000 gallons inground pool. Our old pump was a 1HP, at this point, I love the 1.5 HP. The water is turning fast and I like that better. We had a Hayward that was hardwired with a code installation (tube not sure of the correct name) that went right into the back of the Hayward. This pump does not have that capability. We are going to have an outlet plug installed on the wire and also install an outlet to plug it into.

Put an above ground pool in the ground 2.75 feet and used bottom drain and skimmer basket the 1.5 hp runs amazing. Nice and quiet and impressive power. If you're on the fence with this one, you shouldn't be. It's only been a few weeks of 8 hr day runs. Set it and forget it

After install with some PVC parts from the hardware store, I was able to set this up for use with an in-ground fountain. I connected to 220v, ran pump at the low setting. The noise level was fairly low and water flow was perfect on the low setting, way too fast at the high setting. So far, so good on performance with zero issues.

As you can see if you look at the photos of the pump there is an actual plug attached to the outlet in 2 pictures this is not the case you have to wire everything your self. Also it says it can handle 1.5 in hose I’m not sure how because it’s looking like only 2 inch. The pictures and description is very misleading I haven’t been able to use this yet because all the prep I did I have redo due to the poor descriptions and pictures of this item
