Electric cafetera with the same end result of delicious café Cubano early upon rising and any other time of day! Well made. Makes enough for two Cuban tazas. I have had the versions before where you put it directly on the stove top I like this so much better. It is very easy to clean all parts of it. It brews really fast. There was a review on here suggesting that the coffee doesn't brew for long enough therefore you miss out on some of the flavor and I have to say I completely disagree.. I had my espresso machine breakdown on me and so I had to buy this and a milk frother as a replacement and I have to say this Gave way better flavor than my espresso machine did. I mean WOW. I've gone through two espresso machines in two years and I end up having a problem at some point with the brewing coffee portion at some point that part ends up breaking down and I think that by having this separate from the milk portion it's gonna be so much easier to clean and it is going to last so much longer. I would easily buy this again and it was worth the money. ... show more

===Smaller 1-2 cup review=== Reviewing after my first try, will update as time goes on. From the reviews I was already expecting the plastic head part to not be great, but I'm Dominican so I just had a spare moka pot/greca around and replaced the head with a metal one. Couldn't find any review that mentioned changing the head so I was worried it wouldn't fit, but it fits perfectly and works just the same. I also read it brews too fast, but after 5-6 mins it came out pretty well, doesn't taste burnt to me. Another issue I read was that the metal separator that comes with it breaks easily. I just don't really use or need it. A pod good 👍 === Update 03/6/24: Yes, it leaks a bit when pouring. I personally don't care but this might be something you should consider when buying this, even with a different head part. ... show more

Unfortunately, the reality has been anything but satisfactory, leading to a rather disappointing experience overall. The primary issue lies in the brewing process itself, which is fundamentally flawed, resulting in a cup of coffee that falls significantly short of expectations. First and foremost, the machine's approach to brewing is hastily executed, to say the least. It propels hot water through the coffee grounds in the chamber at an alarming speed, taking only 2-3 seconds to complete the process. This rapid water flow doesn't allow enough time for the water to extract the full flavor and strength from the coffee grounds. Consequently, the espresso produced is weak and lacks the depth and richness that espresso enthusiasts, like myself, crave. This fundamental shortcoming undermines the very essence of what an espresso maker is supposed to accomplish. Moreover, there's a significant design flaw that exacerbates the issue: about 1/3 of the water remains in the tank after the brewing process. This not only results in a weaker espresso due to the reduced water passing through the coffee grounds but also raises questions about the efficiency and design of the machine. It's perplexing and frustrating to see such a substantial amount of water go unused, especially considering the importance of water ratio in crafting the perfect espresso shot. In conclusion, this electric espresso maker has been a source of disappointment. Its inability to properly brew a strong, flavorful espresso due to the rushed water flow and the inefficiency of its water tank design are glaring issues that cannot be overlooked. For fellow coffee lovers looking for a machine that lives up to the promise of a genuine espresso experience, I cannot recommend this product.
