I was a bit disappointed with the shower screen that came with my machine, and after lots of research I decided on this IMS screen. It was a perfect fit on my E61 machine, and the water dispersion is much better than my stock screen. It is very easy to clean with a microfiber, and I haven't had any issues with it getting super gross on the inside. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to upgrade my shower screen. Instantly noticed a difference - beautiful shots and tasty. After unlocking the portafilter and looking at the puck there is consistently a perfect perforation indentation on the top of the used grounds - truly is precision! UPDATE: I'm amending my review after using for a couple weeks. I determined that this screen is just a hair or two shorter than the OEM screen, so that would leave a little extra space between the coffee grinds and was resulting in soupy pucks. I've since improved my grind and tamping so that the pucks are consistently dry again, and with the nanotech coating, there's very little grinds sticking to the shower screen, which is very nice and makes for easy cleaning. So, okay, this is an improvement. Not huge, but still worth it. I was excited to get this after switching to the nanotech filter baskets and seeing a huge improvement in my extraction. So I figured a nanotech shower screen would be great, too. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Maybe this is good for lower price point machines like the Gaggia, but it was not an improvement for my Quickmill E61 machine's OEM shower screen, which is already pretty high quality it seems. In fact, the nanotech seemed to have less flow, and my pucks have come out wet to soupy, with some clear evidence of channeling. I tried adjusting my tamp and increasing the amount of coffee. The media could not be loaded. Don’t wait, get this shower screen if you have Lelit oem screen, it’s make a difference…way less channeling and very even water distribution.
