I initially doubted that this Imperius Bunkie Board would make a noticeable difference on our king bed, but I’m happy to be proven wrong. I knew it was working the moment I sat down, feeling a level of firmness that had been missing for a while. Our mattress is generally good, but over time it tends to develop "pockets" where the heavier parts of the body are positioned, leading to significant discomfort. Since adding this support, those sagging areas have vanished, and I’ve been able to reclaim my sleep quality. Installation was incredibly simple; we just placed the boards over the existing slats and set the mattress on top. The 600D Oxford cloth is a great touch, as the silicone particles effectively prevent the mattress from sliding or shifting while we are changing the sheets. A particularly valuable feature for our household is the washable housing; the zippered design makes it easy to remove the boards so the fabric can go straight into the washing machine. I have my foam king bed on a metal frame. It had a fabric encasement and I thought that would be good enough to support the mattress. But when I lifted it up, you can see from the picture, the bed is sinking into the frame at the open areas. The mattress is really expensive so I wanted to get better support for it. This looked like a less expensive option than box springs or a new platform bed frame. It came folded up nicely and was super easy to maneuver around. It didn't have any bad smell. The boards feel like they are light but sturdy. It is thin so it won't interfere with the mattress height in relation to your bedside tables. It unfolded, fit perfectly, and is going to better support my mattress to prevent it from starting to create sagging pockets where there was previously no support. Very happy with this and glad to be better protecting my mattress.

I got this Imperius 10mm Light and Thin, Queen Size Bunkie Board for my home queen size bed, in an attempt to harden the feel of my bed. First, the product comes folded, which unfolded and fit my bed perfectly. It is easy to use with no assembly required. It was of appropriate girth and weight, and I feel it is manufactured to the appropriate specs for bed hardening purposes. Overall, it did make the bed feel more firm, mor supportive, so it does what I wanted it to do. I am pleased with its quality of manufacture and value for the dollar that it presents. This is a good product for firming up a mattress which is already sitting on a box spring. However, it is probably a great product for providing a surface for a mattress on an open air frame.

Memory foam mattresses are great but they're quite heavy and require a lot of support. I have an aging mattress that has caused the box spring to cave in and thus, it doesn't feel great to sleep on. I have a replacement but I haven't had the time to assemble it, so this bunkie board really came in handy. It doesn't require any assembly, you unfold the two sections and place them on top of the frame or foundation and you're good to go. It is incredibly supportive and makes the mattress feel much firmer. It doesn't seem to slide easily under the mattress, so I'm not having to rearrange it. It is sturdy and has a nice durable cover. This is exactly what I needed to fix my old bed! Definitely worth it!

I’m pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and durable this bunker board is. I have a cheap metal frame for my king size guest bedroom where the slats have space between them. This board has helped the bed feel much more comfortable. Now the mattress feels firm. The board comes in two pieces for king and it’s easy, lightweight and manageable for one person to handle. Overall, I am very pleased with this item.

The media could not be loaded. This bunkie board is exactly what I needed for extra mattress support without raising the bed. It’s very thin—only 10mm—but still feels strong and keeps the mattress from sagging. The queen size fits perfectly at 60x80, and it’s lightweight enough to move around during setup. No creaking, no shifting, just a simple, solid base that does its job well. Great option if you want support without bulk.
