This water heater works good heating up water. When using it, make sure the entire heater is underwater before plugging it and make sure it is unplugged before removing from the water. I heated up a sink of cold water and within 5 minutes time, the water was between warm and hot. I like how a digital thermometer is supplied with it. I do have concerns about all the warnings everywhere on all the instructions and labels saying DO NOT put your hand in the water with it. Apart from possibly putting your hand in how water, it appears you may be shocked as the literature seems to indicate. This seems a little scary to me. Makes you wonder why it wasn't made to make good and sure this would not happen versus plastering a warning to this effect all over the inserts. I noticed while using it too that that yellow cord because very flimsy. This always concerns me about cords that are plugged in. At any rate, it appears to work fine. Just be careful when using it and be sure to follow the directions and warnings closely for safety sake.

This is a handy little item. I filled up my dog’s pool but it was just too cold for them to get in. So I grabbed this little heater set it up and 20 minutes later the water was warm and soon after the dogs were playing and having a good time. I ordered this to use for that but also for keeping the water thawed for my chickens during the winter. The auto timer will be perfect for this. It is simple to use and I believe, will have number of other jobs in the future that I haven’t even thought of yet.

Came in on time and works just takes awhile even sucking up 2,000watts I would like it more if it came with a bag when cooled down to store it and the papers they are nice enough to give you a metal scrubber for scale build up and rust I am glad I can heat my small pool now.

I used one of these when I lived out of the country and didn’t have hot water for a shower. This one works well, it has strict instructions to avoid electrocution and fire: so read up first. It heated the bucket in 20 mins and it was enough for me to use to clean our shower drain
