I have a cabin. It has plumbing but no hot water heater. After looking at prices I decided to give this a shot. I left it in the bathtub for 45 minutes. My bath was not cold nor hot but comfortable the entire time. I was not cold at all. This will be a great way to take a warm bath when at my cabin.

I plan to combine this with a portable shower pump and a bucket of water to have a hot (or at least warm) shower while camping. I haven't had the chance to actually fully test that yet, but I've tested the heater in a bucket of water at home and it doesn't take too long to warm up.

This water heater wand is a good pickup for small to medium projects. It's perfect to heat up a 5 gallon bucket quickly. As the container gets larger, it will take longer until you reach equilibrium and the water cools at the same rate this heats. I'm having some success with a small plunge tub, as it performs well enough to heat that volume of water up a bit, with an insulated cover. I suppose you could try it with a small kiddie pool also, just need to make sure it's not contacting the plastic. I would absolutely love it, if it had some sort of upright stand to keep it in place and from moving around. This would eliminate my fear if it melting the plastic container. I'm sure I will probably figure something out eventually. The on/off switch is nice, as similiar items may not have this. The included thermometer is a nice bonus, though it looks as if it was from something else, as it has sort of a panel mount around it. It works well enough though. All in all it's a good value for the price. I just wish it has some way to affix it to something to stop moving in the water.

Immersion Water Heater, 2000W Bucket Heater with Switch Control, Portable Pool Heater with Digital LCD Thermometer, 304 Stainless-Steel Guard Bathtub Heater for Home and Outdoor Use - PROS - This AUKITEY immersion water heater works well. I already took down our mini pool for the summer, so I tested it on a small amount of water in my kitchen skin to ensure it works well for next summer. I am really pleased. It heated the water 30 degrees in 10 minutes. To use, it is simple: submerge piece in water, plug in, and turn on. The enclosed thermometer works great and helps you know the temperature since you absolutely cannot put your hand in the water while it is plugged in for fear of being electrocuted. I really like that there is an on/off switch so you can absolutely control when the heater is on and off for utmost safety. CONS - I wound prefer a longer cord. Also, the warning information included in the product concerned me as I am not sure how to ensure my extension cords are the correct gauge. OVERALL - This AUKITEY immersion water heater is wonderful to have on hand to warm your water for swimming or camping purposes. Thank you for reading my review!

Product Review: Immersion Water Heater, 2000W Bucket Heater I ordered the Immersion Water Heater, 2000W Bucket Heater, hoping to use it for heating my above ground pool since the weather is getting cooler, making the water a little too cold to enjoy. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been disappointing, primarily due to several issues that I encountered during use. First and foremost, I faced persistent problems with the heater tripping the circuit breaker of the outlet. I attempted to plug it directly into an outdoor outlet, which should have been straightforward, but it constantly caused the circuit to trip. This recurring issue was not only frustrating but also caused me to question the safety and reliability of the heater. In addition to the circuit issues, the time it took for the heater to warm up the pool water was significantly longer than expected. With a 2000W power rating, I anticipated quicker heating, but the reality was a prolonged wait that rendered the product impractical for my needs. I also tried using a recommended extension cord, which I thought would help alleviate some of the outlet tripping problems. Unfortunately, this led to another alarming situation—the extension cord became extremely hot during use. This raised concerns about safety and efficiency, making me worry about the potential hazards of using this heater. Lastly, while the design features, such as the digital LCD thermometer and the 304 stainless-steel guard, are commendable, they do not compensate for the fundamental issues with performance and safety. Therefore, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Immersion Water Heater. There are simply too many safety concerns, and the product does not deliver on its promised efficiency. If you’re in the market for a reliable pool or bucket heater, it may be worth considering other options.

We have a camper, and we have propane heat for our water tank. In an effort to save money on propane, we have an electric tea kettle we use to wash dishes. We have to fill our wash basin several times and it takes quite a while to heat. This solved that problem. I can heat a whole sink full of water with this, and in a short period of time. My concern was that it would be hot and I wouldn't have somewhere to safely place it after heating the water, but it's actually NOT hot on the outside much to my surprise. The thermometer works great too, and keeps me from getting it too hot to use as dishwater. This was a great purchase and I have used it not only in dish water but I also boil water to mop with, so this saved me from that too! I just fill up a 5 gallon bucket and heat it, then pour into my scrubbing bucket to keep from getting any cleaning products in the heater.
