Almost all the reviews are from vine free reviews so here's a more honest review: Pros: - heats water fast; within 15 mins or so I had 105 degrees Fahrenheit lukewarm water - fits into portable Mighty Sink - variable temperature control; maintains temp once reached - seems safe in a plastic bin - able to check temps outside of container is very helpful - controller says it's "anti dry burning", hope that means it will auto shutoff when dry, though I haven't tested this feature yet. Cons: - a lot of watts, but will heat up faster and turn itself off when up to temp Summary: I was looking for a heated portable sink, and this heater fits into the Mighty Sink like a glove, without melting the plastic and heating up the water fast. ... show more

I use this for the water bucket for the chickens. I like the fact that you can set the temperature to whatever you want and if the water gets to low it will shut off. I only bought one to see if I liked it. I will be buying a couple more for other animals in the barn.
