The buy it once and forget Mount.
Absolutely a great mount for my first amount anyways. But it does exactly what it needs to do. Works well My phone is 163.3 x 75.3 x 8.8 mm yeah I Google that. Anyways it's the one plus 12. About your standard large telephone nowadays. So add a protective case into it and this should give you a feel for how big this amount expands outward. Dismount holds my phone stablely at excessive high speeds. Very well thought of, the ratcheting mechanism & button still works after three seasons of being exposed to the elements. Of course I'm reviewing the version without the charging ability. It's very inclusive comes with multiple sizing mounting adapters and tools needed to install. They designed it to make it hard for someone to steal your phone although reality is it's still very easy to take somebody's phone. The directions weren't easy to understand or maybe it didn't come with directions but hey you know foreign things.

Fairly sturdy solution if handlebar mounting isn't an option
I have 2 motorcycles and wanted to have the option of using my phone for GPS on either of them. On my standard bike, it was pretty easy. Clamp a holder to the handlebar and away you go. My sport bike, however, has short, low-slung handlebars that are mounted close to the triple tree. There's no room to add a handlebar mount and even if you could, it would be pretty far out of my line of sight. I considered one of the magnetic tank bags with the transparent cellphone pocket but, again, that's pretty far out of my line of sight. I didn't want to constantly have to hunt for my cellphone down on the back of the tank. Also, I didn't think I'd be able to plug a charging cable into my phone if it was in a tank bag. After finding a post in one of the sport bike forums, I came across the proper search term to use: stem-mount motorcycle cellphone holder. Typing it into Amazon brought up this holder and, after measuring the ID of my bike's stem to confirm it would work, I bought it. Installation is dead simple. I removed the protective plastic cap from my stem, inserted the bottom of the mount, and tightened the screw until it held securely. The bottom of the mount is a 2-piece assembly, and the screw wedges the halves together and outward. It grips the inside of the stem tube very securely once it is tightened down. A couple of things. Lubricate the threads on the screw before installing. This will help to keep it from galling or seizing, especially if you need to remove it months or years down the road. Also, run a wire brush around the inside of the stem tube to get rid of any corrosion. Mine was rusty so I chucked a circular wire brush into a drill and cleaned it out, then blew it out with compressed air. The rest of the mount consists of double ball-and-socket joint that allows the holder to articulate to various positions. When you mount the holder, make sure that it will clear the fuel tank with the handlebars fully turned in both positions. Make sure the phone holder is OPEN when you do this, otherwise it will contact the tank if the front forks are turned and you open it up. Tightening the ball-and-socket joint requires a special plastic wrench (provided in the kit) to turn the nut. I'm not in love with this. I don't like proprietary tools because if they get lost, you'll be looking for an improvised solution or a direct replacement (if you can find one). The proprietary fastener is supposed to be an anti-theft feature, but I doubt anyone will want to steal a $30 cellphone mount. In any case, if they want it badly enough, a pair of pliers will probably loosen that proprietary nut right up. I ended up putting the special wrench on the keyring with my motorcycle key so that it's always with me when I'm on the bike. The ball-and-socket joint is fairly secure, but you really need to tighten it down in order to keep your phone from drifting. There just isn't much friction between the plastic parts. It works, but it requires snugging things down a bit more than you think you need to. I lubricated all the fastener threads before doing this to prevent galling and seizing. Once everything is installed and in position, the mount works fine. I've ridden my bike over some fairly rough terrain (it's road construction season here) and the phone mount hasn't moved. It also allows me to plug my charging cable into the bottom of my phone, which is nice for long rides where the GPS can deplete the battery. One of my favorite things to do is to jump on a bike and ride back-country roads with no destination in mind. Eventually, though, I need my phone GPS to point me back home. With this mount, my phone is securely held in a position where I can see it with a quick glance. I'm not in love with the proprietary wrench but once it's adjusted it is secure enough (so far) and works well. I was able to adjust this mount to where it clears the tank, is easy to see, and doesn't reflect glare. In all, it fits all the requirements for a good mount for a sport bike. At about $33 it isn't the cheapest mount out there, but it's significantly cheaper than some of the other stem-mounted phone holders out there (some of which go for $80 or more) and the price reflects the quality, which appears quite good. I would recommend this holder to anyone that requires a stem mount.

Exceptional quality and fitment.
Bought this for stem mounting on my 98' CBR600 F3. This mount comes with enough adapters to fit most all motorcycle stem mount applications. Once tightened, this phone holder is rock solid, no play. Have had on bike a few months now. Easy to use, built extremely well and should hold about any phone. Only slight issue, I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra. Needed a slimmer phone case to get into cradle, but the S21 in an Otter-Box Defender is quite large. In the thinner case, you could probably high-end the bike and it would stay put. (Not that you'd have more to worry about at that point). If your looking for a motorcycle stem mount, this is it.

Works very well
I use this on both of my bikes (2023 Ninja 650 & 2024 Ninja ZX6R). The mount fits into the fork stems and secures tightly with no wiggling once tightened down properly. I use an older phone that I no longer care about since this mount doesn't have a vibration dampener but for the price, I would purchase it again. It allows for different adjustments and orientations of the phone so that you can customize your setup to however you’d like, depending on your specific bike. I’ve used it many times on backroads, highways and through rough bumpy areas as well. No issues with the security of the phone or the mount. However, both of my bikes have windshields that deflect most of, if not all of the wind so with that said, I cannot comment on how secure the mount is on a bike without a wind screen. In my experience, this mount has done everything I expected it to. The pictures I included are on the 2024 Ninja ZX6R.

Easy install and secure!
Bought this for my 2019 zx6r and it was worked just as needed. I had to reorder because the first shipment was missing a manual. Got it replaced the very next day! I have a iPhone pro max and I was concerned that it wouldn’t fit my phone with a case but there was more than enough space. It’s very sturdy during the ride and I don’t worry about it slipping out at all. You definitely get a bang for your buck! Great design.

Broke while riding!! Very low quality plastic!!
Cheap plastic material started breaking down after 3 months of use. Luckily I caught my phone as it fell while riding due to the back of the holder breaking apart. Look at pictures I took.
