The first thing I will say, is these things are BRIGHT. Like, the rapture is coming Bright. So if brightness is what you're looking for, I promise that is what you are getting with these. The material is made of a very sturdy plastic. I will add that they are not exactly white. It was kind of bummer, when we put them up realizing that all of the trim and other light fixtures in our house were really white and these are more of an off-white almost tan/ivory color. These things adjust great, they're very easy to maneuver and position exactly where you want them. The main light in the center has a screw that you can loosen and tighten to make sure that you get it exactly where you want and to lock it in place. The controls on the bottom, for the timing and range of the motion sensor, are easy to adjust. I do wish that these came with a remote that you could use to change the settings because we mounted these pretty high up on our house so if we do ever want to adjust them I have to pull out the ladder and climb up two stories. But these have been great, the range is amazing, we have our sensitivity on high and it picks up the smallest things, which is what we wanted. They don't look too out of place on the house, but it would be better if the color was truly white. ... show more

If this is going in your backyard and you have no one behind you, this is the perfect light. I didn't know how bright it was when I installed it for a driveway light. I still might swap out the back light with this, but for now, I have the lights aimed straight down, which is still plenty bright I was even entertaining cutting the wires for the two side lights, but I didn't know how they were wired, figuring I might nuke the main light. Honestly, the two side lights would have been plenty of light...My previous light lasted 3 years. We'll see how long this one goes for. If you're not like me, and want to piss off the neighbor across the street, this is the perfect solution. ... show more

I liked the brightness and color of the lights (daylight), as well as the ease of positioning the 3 lights independently of each other. I installed it in our alley to light up the dark corners as people, dogs, rats (downtown Chicago!), and cars run past. It took a little setup to mount the light on the parapet wall (see photo), and adjust the lights and set the sensor to the right duration of how long the lights stay on, how far out it will detect motion and when it goes on (I set it to just at night). All easy dials on the bottom of the light sensor. Play around with it while someone help by walking below to trigger it when and where you want. One install tip, if your installing it outside on a wall that does not have an electrical box where you want it, I would recommend buying an outdoor circular box, you can easily mount it to a wall, mount the light to the outlet, and even run a plug (with the socket cut off to wire the light to a cord you can just plug into a nearby outlet (that's what I did, we had a plug on our deck). I would also caulk the box and light just to be on the safe side. ... show more

    • STAY AWAY! This SUCKS! Poor Quality!

I’ve had this installed above my garage for less than two years and it’s been nothing but problems. The motion sensor on this SUCKS! The motion sensor won’t detect any movement on the driveway unless you’re within 10ft of it. That’s ridiculous. Sometimes, the light stays on indefinitely and it takes an act of god to turn it off. The plastic on the motion sensor is very poor quality. It cracked from exposure to the sunlight within the first 6 months. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere ... show more

    • Nice bright light, but the override doesn't work

Would be a nice light but sometimes I like to keep it on. Unfortunately, the override does not work, I tried everything. And it turns off by itself after five minutes otherwise a nice powerful, strong light.
