These are amazing. I know there are a lot of false reviews out there making terrible products look good and great products look bad. I manufacture a couple of products myself and it is sad to see that unscrupulous vendors have learned how to game the system with reviews on their own and competitors' products. In this case I can assure you these are the real deal: I go crazy every time I sit down and realize there are no reading glasses nearby. I have been buying reading glasses at a rabid pace to make sure they are everywhere around my house. They usually wind up scratched or broken or dirty and it drives my impatient self nuts, especially when I have to clean them incessantly and sometimes I'm sitting there mindlessly cleaning and cleaning and then realize it won't come off because they're scratched or abraded. UGH! I still keep them for emergency, which seems to happen a lot and that's a vicious cycle (because I wind up picking them up and cleaning them until I realize, "oh yeah, these are the scratched ones!"). NOW these: Unobtrusive, lightweight, don't mark the bridge of my nose, flexible to no end, do not fall off-- If they were at all fragile, believe me they'd have broken on me already -- and SCRATCH RESISTANT! The design makes them so easy to wipe clean, but for some reason they actually seem not to attract smudges-- or maybe it's just the scratch resistance, IDK... Are they pricier? Yes. Might I lose them? Yes. But otherwise it seems like they'll last forever and I'll be so much happier -- until I have to go up a strength and start buying all over again :/ So to all of you whom, like I, have to waste too much time these days to find what is the real real. The Scojo New York Gels reading glasses are what I have been looking for for a very long time. Most reading glasses, even with the light plastic frames, feels heavy and leaves a mark on the nose bridge. The Gels is so light that sometime I forget that I am wearing it. It feels very comfortable even when I lie in bed reading for a long time. In addition, it is very stylish - it is frameless with a gentle touch of delicate shade of color. It is very sleek and compact that nestles in a slim plastic (gel) case when I got it. I can put it in my small handbag. I bought two pairs. I put one pair by my bedside and one pair in my handbag. I love these readers! I have had them in multiple colors and various strengths. They are lightweight, flexible, easy to clean, and I barely know they are on me. Note to self: Put classes on a table after removing them. If you leave them on the couch you are likely to bend the frame when you sit on them. :-(. I learned the hard way with my blue ones that were less than 3 hours old! ugh! Great glasses!! **Sometimes when I try to order them I get a pop up that says they do not deliver to my area which is random because I have owned at least 10 pair. ... show more
