Lights go steady in few a few seconds then you can start putting water in both tanks to clean the system by selecting the coffee options. Do this three times then you are to make coffee. Makes great drinks and is easy to use. Cappuccino for me and Chai tea lattes for her. The frother works well, but pay attention to the adjuster dial as it is sensitive. The Clean setting on the frother is pretty useless, but it is easy to clean in the sink. I do wish the drinks came out a bit hotter, but they are drinkable right away. Finally, do NOT run it out of water. It takes forever to get it to work back through the machine. Overall, happy with what we got for the price. I actually look forward to my morning cup vs just going through the motions. ... show more

Wanted something to give me espresso and this little machine is perfect. Warms up super fast. Very easy to clean once finished. All in all maybe about a minute with prep and cleanup? Some negatives, not all of my cups fit under the nozzle. So if you have a super large cup, it won't fit. However, this is for a shot of espresso and why you'd want a super large cup is in you. I am neutral on the milk steamer. Didn't buy it for it, but did try it to see. I didn't care for that, but that is probably my personal opinion. This has a lot of ummph for such a compact device. I needed a good quality but small espresso machine capable of producing two perfect espressos quickly. It is not that easy to find a compact one with temperature controls, 20 bar pressure, heated top plate, and a handy milk frother, all of which works well. This one certainly fits that description, though. Of course, there are others in this price range that are also good machines. However, I haven’t tried them and I’ve been using this one nearly every day. This has turned out to be a very good choice that I would happily buy again. ... show more

I like the shape and design, looks great on the counter. No assembly required, pull it out of the box, fill with water and you are ready to go. Counter footprint is small, which is great. Just use caution when installing the portafiller, the machine isn’t really heavy so you may need to hold the machine while installing it. Overall very happy with it.
