Their 15 hours of cooling is likely if you run it on low and have a good tailwind? the battery specs and the fan drain doesn't work out mathematically to 15 hours. We however were able to do max cooling for about 4 hours, which is isn't quite enough for a whole hot summer day at an amusement park. Run it at a lower speed and put it closer to the face and you can get a whole hot afternoon's worth of runtime and it still provides a lot of relief. It is however very light so I could extend the runtime or charge it with a charge pack that I tend to keep with me to charge our phones. Longer runtimes would also mean a larger and heavier product and during late spring and early fall, we don't need that much cooling. It's a combination of weight and runtime that I prefer over something that could last at full speed during the hottest part of summer for all day use but would mean extra bulk that I'd rather not carry for the rest of the year. I’m impressed with this little fan! For just $2.99 you get a small fan and a cord to charge it. The fan can be worn around your neck, wrist, or you can kick out the bottom as a stand. This is a great thing to have on a hot day when outside working or attending events. Love it!

BEST THING ABOUT IT: travel size ADDITIONAL LIKES: has handle, has stand, 4 speeds, rechargeable, quiet, 2 year warranty WORST THING ABOUT IT: low output ADDITIONAL DISLIKES/CONCERNS: not easily aimed WARRANTY: 2 year COMMENTS (Function, Appearance, Quality): I’m looking for a small rechargeable fan for travel. This one is definitely travel size (the dimensions listed are accurate), the fan blade being just over 3”. It has a handle that has a fold-out back that allows it to stand on the handle at a slight inclined angle. It provides adequate cooling when you hold it in your hand or set on a desk or table. Unfortunately, it is not easy to aim, you pretty much have to position yourself in front of it or hold it in front of you at the desired angle. As it sits when using the stand, it is always pointed upward. It comes with a lanyard and (yet another) micro-USB cable. It is definitely portable and at just over an inch deep, it is easy to pack and carry (even around your neck on the lanyard). The fan is very quiet, barely pushing 50 dB on the highest of its four speeds. For a three inch blade, it does create a bit of a breeze, but I am looking for more of one I can set on the nightstand and set the angle and direction to provide comfort during sleep. MOST SUITABLE FOR: Portable face fan (I imagine it would be handy to have at a theme park or on a hike) IS IT WORTH IT?: If you desire a portable hand-held fan for facial cooling, then absolutely, especially with a 2 year warranty.. *PRECISE RATING: 4 (I’d prefer that it had greater ability to direct the breeze in the desired direction without having to hold it.) RECOMMENDATION: I can recommend this fan for anyone seeking a hand-help personal cooling option. (As always, I will report back if there are any durability issues with additional use.) I have a lot of portable fans (hand held, small desktop, etc.) and several are USB rechargeable. I use the hand held fans to cool my laptop, so they are in constant rotation. I put this fan to use right away and it's now my favorite. It's slim but powerful. There are 4 fan speeds to choose from and even at the highest speed, it's incredibly quiet. That's a major bonus. Another thing I really like is the fan's charging capabilites: it charges quickly and each charge lasts for a considerable amount of time. There's also a built in stand that folds out. It's pretty sturdy. There's also a strap you can attach and loop around your wrist when holding the fan. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this little fan. This little fan really does a great job of keeping one cool. This fan has four speeds. On the highest speed the temperature feels like air from an air conditioner, that is how powerful this little fan is. The fan comes preassembled, the only thing you have to add is the strap if you would like to use it and that is easy to attach. It comes with a cable for charging on your laptop or other adaptable power source. This fan is small enough to fit in a purse and is lightweight enough that it is not heavy to hold over time. Also, if you would prefer not to hold the unit all the time, you can place it standing up on a flat surface and it still operates well so you can enjoy the cool breeze. This is a cute little lightweight travel fan that requires no assembly and works out of the box. As others have mentioned, the downside is that you can't adjust the angle of it to direct the air flow as you might like. So one star down for that. Otherwise, it's a very nice product.

This is a handheld fan which looks like its best use will be while sitting out in the heat. We live in FL so that will happen often. it works ok for a desk fan, but the tilt of the stand makes the fan point in only one direction. It would be nice if you could adjust the fan to point to you in a certain spot but that is not available. It seems like it will work well as a hand-held fan during my daughter's outdoor soccer matches! ... show more
