I think it's a great starter set. It pretty easily makes a nice double cup of cappuccino for me in the morning. Cleanup is a little more work that a drip coffeemaker, but no big deal. Not for a big party, but for one or two people it's a lot of fun and the result is quite satisfactory. Also, I would add that their customer support is outstanding. Returned immediately. Not good for anyone who doesn't have really strong arm strength to load the filter. It takes quite the effort for an elderly person to twist that coffee filter into lock position. The whole unit is pretty flimsy.

Very easy to use; simple functions. Shots are watery (long shots for my coffee people), clearly there is not much pressure in the water going into the espresso, but considering the price, it's acceptable.

    • Coffe maker is good but Frother doesn’t work
I just received this machine and overall it works well. I like the preheat because the coffee comes out hotter than most machines that are similar. The frother on the machine leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve had machines like this before and know how to ge frothy milk and this one is awful! Also, it’s nicer to have a frother you can just wipe off rather than one with the extra piece on the outside that you have to take off to clean both.
