I purchased this game pad to play a new non-PC based game called SnowRunner which is designed for use with a game pad. That said, I admit I have never used a game pad device, but I have seen quite a few of them with my son having multiple game consoles in the house over the years. So I do have a reference when I say this device just feels cheap and flimsy. For the price I would have expected something with more comfortable grips. It's sort of odd that one of the rating criteria is "Light weight". I don't see it being light weight as an advantage and would actually have preferred it to have a bit more heft. It works fine as game pads go I guess, but it's just not comfortable to use and does not compare to the ones made by the top console makers. I do have big hands but that is not the issue. If it had some sort of softer plastic on the handles were you grip it would be a lot better. All the control knobs and triggers feel cheap as well. Maybe my expectations are high and it's what you get at this price point, but I expected more for my $30. Does it work....sure. Can I recommend it? Well if a cheap plastic feel is fine with you then this will suite you just fine. I will likely spend some more money and get a better one as I plan to play SnowRunner for some time.

I paid just over $10 for this, I've seen the price go up twice since then. At the current $22 price tag, I would suggest looking elsewhere - the Rock Candy XB360 controllers can be found for $25 and they feel way nicer. The controller feels light in your hands and the materials feel cheap overall. I bought it to play CP2077 on my PC and TV like it was a console (with an RTX3080, SMOKES the PS5) and it did the job just fine, I added rubber grips to the thumbsticks and would recommend anyone who buys a controller this cheap also do. I've definitely had worse controllers at this price point, this one tops out at adequate. If you see it for less than $15 I'd say go for it.

I'm a PS4 gamer, but got a new PC and started collecting games on there. I was going to get an XBOX controller to use on PC, because Microsoft, but saw this and decided to try it. I prefer corder controllers anyway. It was immediately recognized by Windows 10 as an XBOX controller and fully programmable and useable in all the games I have that allow controller use on PC. So far it's been sturdy, but I found out one thing... I hate XBOX controller design. Lol. So I searched, and behold! This company makes a PS4 style version as well. It's awesome. I've been using that one for awhile now and it's still going strong. As with all controllers with time, and wear and tear, these will last if you take care of them. They feel flimsy, compared to a pro XBOX controller or pro PS4 controller, but they're not. These are sturdy. Unless I just got lucky. I'm not knocking my review down, just because I hate the XBOX controller design. I used these for awhile before I got the PS version, and these handled great. I'm happy I got these. Even if they're for backup now.

Came here to write this review because I treated this controller with amazing care for a bit of time just for my one R1 button to give out randomly tonight. I tried fixing it to no avail even unscrewed it and saw how sloppy the insides were. 7/10 second ifyoo product i've bought to do this.

I got this to replace an old controller that was no longer being responsive, having a mushy RB and a couple buttons that required more pressure to register than it took to get the "snap". I have played a couple games with this new controller, maybe a couple hours total, and it has been much better so far. I also like that the cable for it can be removed, which makes it easier to avoid tangles. At only $20, it was an incredibly good value.

The build quality of this controller honestly isn't the most sturdy feeling thing in the world if you're coming from a playstation/xbox controller. With that said, I have had 2 Xbox controllers have their bumpers break, and a playstation controller have its trigger break over the last 3-4 years. This controller has had absolutely no issues at all over those years, and I can always count on it working; it's a great player-2 controller.
