Description

Why doesn’t this device have a built-in frontlight like other tablet? This device uses E-ink technology, which reflects ambient light like paper. Therefore, no built-in frontlight is included, providing better eye comfort and longer battery life. External lighting is required in low-light environments. Where can I watch the user guide video ? Go to the iFLYTEK AINOTE 2 product detail page on Amazon, click "Visit the iflytek Store, then select "AINOTE 2" and find the "How to use" page to view videos. Can Al features like transcription or ChatGPT work offline? No. Al features, including transcription and ChatGPT assistance, require a stable internet connection. Offline use is not supported. Why does the screen feel slower than a tablet? This is normal for E-ink devices. E-ink screens refresh differently from LCD tablets to reduce eye strain and improve battery life. A slight delay during page refresh is expected. How accurate is handwriting-to-text? Accuracy varies based on handwriting style and structure. This feature may not meet the needs of users who require consistently high OCR accuracy.

  • Great to take notes and to draw! Great to take notes and to draw!
Size: AINOTE 2
I’ve been having a very positive experience with the AiNote 2. As a university student, I definitely find it much more enjoyable and practical to write on than a traditional notebook. One of the features that impressed me the most was the voice transcription. It supports multiple languages, and the accuracy is remarkably good. It also allows you to import books and documents, provides quick access to your notes, and even includes AI-powered tools. The battery life left an excellent impression on me. I used it for several afternoons in a row without needing to recharge it. Another detail I really appreciated is that the smart pen doesn't require charging either, which makes it incredibly convenient for everyday use. The writing experience is also very good—the screen is responsive, and the writing latency is minimal, making it feel very natural. I only noticed slightly more lag when using features that require manually inserting elements, but it was never bothersome. My favorite feature is the smart pen. It allows you to quickly erase content and circle items to move them around the page, convert them into to-do tasks, or even perform searches. I find it extremely useful for organizing notes. As a possible improvement, I would love to see an option that allows users to resize selected elements by enlarging or shrinking them. I also took the opportunity to test it for drawing, since that's an activity I really enjoy, and the experience pleasantly surprised me. The precision and sensitivity make it comfortable to create detailed strokes and achieve great results. Another major strength is the display. It has virtually no glare, and reflections are almost nonexistent. In fact, I’ve never used a screen with a finish that feels so similar to real paper. This makes it very comfortable for taking notes in class without increasing eye strain. The resolution is also excellent. However, one limitation worth mentioning is that it does not support color in notes. I understand this is due to the technology being used, but it's something people who enjoy creating colorful notes should keep in mind. Finally, the device is lightweight and slim, making it very easy to carry around. That said, I would personally recommend using a protective case or sleeve when transporting it in a backpack, as it feels somewhat delicate. Overall, I believe it is an excellent option for students who already take a lot of notes, as that is where you'll get the most value from it. The writing experience, long battery life, and comfortable display truly set it apart from a traditional notebook and make you want to write much more often. ... show more

  • Great for Notes, but Handwriting Recognition Can Be Hit or Miss
Size: AINOTE 2
I've been trying to work the iFLYTEK AINOTE 2 into my daily routine at work, and overall I've had a pretty positive experience with it. The writing experience is probably my favorite part. It feels very natural to write on, and it does a great job of replacing a stack of notebooks on my desk. The screen is easy on the eyes, and I like being able to keep all my notes organized in one place instead of having papers scattered everywhere. For meetings, quick notes, and keeping track of projects, it's been really handy. My biggest complaint is the character recognition. When my handwriting is neat, it does a decent job, but there are times when it struggles and I end up spending extra time fixing words that were interpreted incorrectly. It's not a deal breaker, but it can be a little frustrating when you're trying to move quickly. Overall, I really like the device and plan to keep using it. The writing experience is excellent, and if the handwriting recognition improves over time, it would be an even better tool for everyday work ... show more

  • A Seamless Shift from Typing to Handwriting A Seamless Shift from Typing to Handwriting
Size: AINOTE 2
As a software engineer, I typically default to typing everything to stay efficient, but acquiring this iflytek AINOTE 2 has actually shifted my habits back toward handwriting. The interaction with the tablet is remarkably smooth, and the screen quality makes for a very natural writing experience. It is incredibly thin—almost surprisingly so—which gives it a premium feel despite its high functionality. The connectivity was seamless right out of the box; I had it on my Wi-Fi without any trouble. Being able to access the Google Play store is a massive advantage for utility. I’ve already added Kindle Reader and Google Keep to my workflow, and the device integrates beautifully with my existing digital life by synchronizing my Google tasks and emails. I also love that it syncs everything to an app on my phone, making my notes accessible anywhere. I have started using this tablet every morning to structure my daily activities. I find it especially helpful to implement mind maps to organize my thoughts on upcoming tasks. While there is one minor quirk—I haven't yet found a way to edit a mind map once it has been created—the rest of the interface is very intuitive. The AI features are quite interesting; they do transition to a subscription model after the trial period, but at only a couple of dollars a month, it feels like a reasonable investment for the added organization. The speed and responsiveness are impressive, with barely any lag when writing, which keeps my notes looking crisp and clean. Even though my handwriting isn't particularly neat, the OCR performance is surprisingly good. I haven't had much time to explore the voice transcription features yet, but the handwriting recognition alone adds significant value. The screen size is also just right, offering plenty of room to work without feeling cramped. Because the device is so slim, I made sure to put a case on it immediately to keep everything protected. While the pen attaches magnetically, I noticed that a simple bump could send it tumbling off if you aren't using a protective case. Overall, this has become a staple in my morning routine, providing a great balance between digital convenience and the tactile feel of traditional note-taking. ... show more

  • This tablet rocks!
Size: AINOTE 2
This paper tablet is super cool! I've been eyeing another brand paper tablet for a good minute, so when I was offered this one I jumped at the chance to try it. It came packaged very well and intact, included everything needed for the tablet. Its super thin and lightweight, very comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The quality of it is really nice, even though its so thin, it seems pretty durable and solid. It has a very modern design and I like the simple silver color. It was a simple process to get it set up and connectivity was instant. It includes so many amazing features besides just using it as a writing tablet. I can download my favorite apps on it, use translation tools, use chat got, and more. But if course what I really wanted it for was to take notes for work and it does that amazingly. I love the screen feels like paper, writing on it with the stylus is so smooth. The screen is accurate and responsive to touch. I love being able to write notes on this tablet, makes it more enjoyable and my hands less fatigued. I use it at home as well, I'm always making notes, lists, and adding things to my calendar, so this has been useful in many ways. I have been using it often, and so far I'm really impressed with its performance. This thing is super expensive, but for now I would say its worth it. I'm just happy I finally got my paper tablet! ... show more

  • A Quality Writing Tablet That Needs Protection!
Size: AINOTE 2
This Iflytek AINOTE 2, 10.65" Electronic Notebook with Pen, 4.2mm Ultrathin Note Taking Paper Tablet is specifically geared for people who like to write. The pen is responsive and flows with ease. The many different features make it possible that when you are writing, you have many ways to save, check, and send your work to others. The internet connection makes it possible to convert spoken words into text and to translate languages easily. The tablet's design looks like a single sheet of glass paper, with the capabilities of an electronic notebook. The screen size is large, and I used it for a 90-minute meeting; it transcribed all the dialogue accurately, with some minor interpretations. I do, however, have a few issues. The tablet's lightweight design makes me concerned it could break easily. I think it should include a protective case just to make sure that this doesn't slip off a table and get damaged. When I did the voice recording, I wasn't sure of how many pages were transcribed. I knew the recording time but not the page number. I read the 17-page quick instructions and have the basics, but I still have concerns about my knowledge. I also saw the 256-page downloaded manual, which I'll need a few days to plow through. I was also concerned about a backlight, especially in low-light conditions, where some form of light might be necessary. Beyond that, I found the registration process was easy, and the setup went well. As a writer, I could see myself using this every day. I just have to find a good way to secure it. With all its capabilities, versatility, and long battery life, it is clearly an item that will provide good value for your money. I don't use ChatGPT5 much; I know this tablet has it, but I'm open to what I may do with it later. ... show more

  • Natural Writing Experience With Powerful Note Tools
Size: AINOTE 2
The 10.65" E Ink display is crisp, easy on the eyes, and provides a paper like surface for writing with the included stylus. Handwriting is responsive with very little lag, and the different brush styles make it easy to switch between notes, lists, and sketches. The transcription, handwriting recognition, AI assistance, calendar integration, and cross device syncing give it far more capability than a basic digital notebook. Its thin 4.2mm design and long battery life make it easy to carry and use throughout the day, although the slim body needs a protective case during transport. The screen has no front light, so an external light is required in darker rooms, and the transcription and AI features need Wi Fi. The price is high, but the writing quality, organization tools, and extensive feature set provide good value for the money for someone who takes notes every day. ... show more

  • A practical notebook replacement for busy workdays A practical notebook replacement for busy workdays
Size: AINOTE 2
Using this paper tablet at work has made my daily note taking much more organized and less stressful. When I started using it, I immediately noticed how natural the writing experience felt during meetings and training sessions. I spend a lot of time keeping track of repair notes, process changes, and reminders throughout the day, and this tablet has helped me keep everything in one place instead of carrying stacks of paper. The handwriting recognition has been surprisingly useful when I need to clean up messy notes before sharing them with coworkers. I also appreciate how easy it is to review older notes without digging through notebooks or folders. The transcription feature has helped during team discussions because I can focus more on listening instead of trying to write every detail down. I like being able to organize tasks and mark important items so I do not forget follow ups later in the shift. The screen is comfortable to look at for long periods, especially during busy workdays when I constantly check notes and schedules. I have also started using it for quick personal reminders during breaks, which keeps everything together in one device. The battery life has been dependable enough that I do not worry about charging it constantly at work. I was also happy that it connected easily with my other apps, which made adding it into my daily routine very simple. The convenience alone has made it worth the purchase because it saves time and keeps me more focused throughout the day. It feels like a practical tool instead of a distraction, which is something I value in a work device. I think this tablet would benefit professionals, students, or anyone who spends a lot of time in meetings and wants a cleaner way to manage notes and daily tasks. ... show more

  • Not bad at all Not bad at all
Size: AINOTE 2
The iFLYTEK AINOTE 2 is an amazing little product that makes a strong first impression with its incredibly thin 4.2mm profile. Setting it up was a breeze and only took about fifteen minutes to get everything fully configured and ready for use. While I am not entirely sure what the base operating system is, it appears to be a version of Android and comes complete with Google Play compatibility. This is a huge advantage as it allows for a lot of flexibility in the apps you can install, and it can even play videos, though I would not really recommend doing that since it is an E-ink display and there is no built-in audio. Reading books on this device is a great experience because the 10.65 inch screen is crisp and easy on the eyes, but I found that editing my own projects took some getting used to. One issue I encountered was a noticeable writing and drawing delay where the ink takes a moment to catch up with the pen. I am not sure if this lag is specific to the third-party apps I was using or if it is just a characteristic of the hardware, but it does make for a less fluid writing experience than I was hoping for. It can be a bit challenging to write naturally when the digital ink is constantly trailing behind your hand movements. Overall, this is a very high-quality device that feels premium in every way, although it does come with a premium price tag to match. It is powered by ChatGPT and offers impressive transcription support for fifteen different languages, though you should be aware that some of the more advanced AI services require a subscription. Fortunately, the tablet is still very usable without the sub if you just need it for basic note-taking and reading. It is a powerful tool for staying organized, provided you can adapt to the slight delay in the pen input during your daily workflow. ... show more
