Purchased this item based on all the great reviews. I mounted it and took it hunting and discovered the digillum illuminated reticle on the lowest setting is so bright you can not see your target at dusk. Sent it back to the factory ,which cost nearly one hundred dollars for insurance and shipping for an item this expensive. They had to disassemble the scope to reduce the brightness. It now works at dusk, but the illuminated reticle cannot be see in the daylight at all, not even on a overcast cloudy days. You really get to choose dusk or day reticle illumination, but not both. My Meopta scopes (have 2), my Leupold, my Aimpoint (have 2), even my cheap Redfields I put on my 22 rifles work great, but not the most expensive scope I own which is this one. I have left multiple messages with the company recording, as no one will answer the phone and have never received a return call. My next purchase will probably be Vortex. A very sad expensive adventure Nightforce has put me thru. DON’T BUY IF YOU INTEND TO HUNT WITH ANY DIGILLUM NIGHTFORCE SCOPE. YOU WILL NOT GET HELP FROM THE FACTORY! ... show more
