I bought this ieGeek camera six months ago after being impressed with a floodlight camera from the same manufacturer that I bought a couple of years ago. Both ieGeek cameras work flawlessly and have not gone offline once. There are a few things that really matter with security cameras and this device nails them all. Firstly, this camera is so easy to set up. It gets power from the supplied solar panel and connects to your existing WiFi within seconds using the free phone app. There is no need to pay a fee to use this camera. Secondly, reliability is flawless. Both my ieGeek cameras have functioned without a glitch and are always on. One of them has been running for over two years. Thirdly, the image quality is exceptional and you can download stills or video clips to your phone providing you have purchased and installed an optional memory card (super easy and inexpensive). The camera is motion activated and begins recording as soon as it detects activity. Within the free app (I use CloudEdge) you can choose the motion sensitivity level and image quality, along with many other settings. You can also set alerts to your phone so you can view what activity it captured while you're away. You can save images and video to your phone or the Cloud (don't bother paying for this subscription —just get a $15 memory card instead). The camera is feature-packed, to say the least. I like that you can easily move it without any worry about wiring. The only wire is the one that connects the solar panel (I have the model with the movable solar panel). It's a great way to keep eyes on your property. I really enjoy reviewing the videos at the end of each day to see what's been happening. I have this camera set up in my heavily-wooded back yard and see lots of wildlife that would normally go unnoticed.

The battery life is excellent, and with the solar charging option, I rarely even need to think about recharging it—it just keeps running on its own. The picture quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night, which gives me peace of mind that I won’t miss any details. The field of view and coverage are also great, allowing me to monitor a wide area without blind spots. Setup was simple, and the app makes it easy to check live feeds or review past recordings anytime. We have been using this camera for a month now and I am thoroughly impressed. We only bought it as a way to keep an eye on our chickens when we're gone, but are now considering buying more for the perimeter of our house because it works so well. Installation was easy. They provide a decent length cord to the solar panel in case you need to install the panel further away from the camera itself which worked out perfect in our case. The quality of the image is pristine. Very clear both by day and night. The feature that I love the most is the ability to scroll the camera to see other parts of the yard. Followed closely by the fact that it is solar powered. It has been solar powered since the first day we got it and have not had a single outage yet nor has it ran low. Love that I don't have to worry about charging it. Because of these two facts alone I like this camera better than the Ring camera I have. Our Ring camera constantly has to be charged and I like that I never have to worry about charging this one. Since this camera is for our chickens we have the sensitivity set pretty low so we don't constantly get notifications, but whenever humans enter the picture, the notifications come very quickly proving that the sensors are excellent. My only complaint (and the reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5) is that the scrolling of the camera hasn't been the most intuitive. You have to drag it continuously as opposed to just a tap which has taken me some getting used to. And then sometimes the camera just keeps going in that direction despite a light drag and then I have to move it back. Not the end of the world because everything else works so good and because I don't need to move it super often. But I do think this feature could use some improvement. Overall, great investment and the customer service has been superb!! Thank you ieGeek!

These cameras work pretty decent. The picture quality is great. The set up is super easy. I had a couple of problems with it picking up some of the motion but realized it’s most likely my wifi and not the camera itself. I contacted customer service about it first and they were fast and amazing about it and helped me out! I like how you can add an sd card for footage as well as use their free basic cloud storage. The IeGeek app is pretty decent as well. Once you navigate it and get to know all the settings it’s pretty straight forward. The solar power holds up well! Has been fully charged since I put them up! Highly recommended!

This is a great little camera. Sometimes it does get a little buggy and I have to restart it through the app. It has pretty good picture quality, and you can move it all over. I wish you could find one that would automatically pan to motion. I’ve had this camera up a few months now and it has been working great. You can move around by using the app. The instructions say not to leave it plugged up to the charging pad all the time, but where it was mounted I cannot reach it so I have left it and so far I have not had any issues sometimes I try to remember to just leave the live feed on for a few minutes so it will drain the battery a little on purpose. Would definitely purchase another one.
