The new one is good I prefer the previous model picture is little bit more clear. But the range on this 200-250 ft from wifi in my experience. What works nice is when you loose internet from any kind of outage the camera still records and save your clips to view later on sd card. Good value overall and easy to use

Have installed several ieGeek cameras now around property. One is a bit finicky and has trouble loading midday. A similar one is on the barn at the edge of the wifi range and is extremely reliable. The finicky one is within 10 feet of the router may be less sensitive someway. I am not the best at tech but for me found these easy to add via the App. Installed a couple of the baby monitor types indoors. Had a problem with mice so set these up on countertops and in the floor. A month in saw a mouse on countertop. A week later a picture of a snake on countertop. Appears to be a corn snake. Not seen many mice since. Not seen snake anymore either. Not at this house all the time. Took several steps to try and block routes in. Without cameras would never know a snake had gotten. Makes you wonder what else may be in unseen. Most of the cameras are battery powered and came with solar panels. Batteries have all shown 100% or close to all the time. Panels are not where they see direct sunlight all day just a few hours either morning or night depending on which side of the house they are located. Several have been up for over a year now a few soon will be two years. I like the way the App works for my use. Click on a scene and rotate phone for full screen. They have relatively good detection capabilities. The barn location sees deer and turkeys frequently. Night vision works well. At night when one detects animals it will turn on a light which spooks the animal sometimes. I wish I could turn that off. Maybe it can be turned off but I have been too lazy to contact the help desk and not cerebral enough to figure it out. Its ok everything has worked well so far. I have no idea how long the batteries will hold up but the oldest ones have been working for last 18 months. Indoor ones are powered off 120 volt ac house receptacles. Notifications happen fairly quickly. Sometimes there is a little latency between event and receipt of notification of some activity detected. Thats more due to the vagaries of cyberspace than device function. Main thing is peace of mind. Although since I didnt have but one camera indoors when snake was detected I keep a long handled grabber thingy at the entrance door now. I got several indoors now so if Mr No shoulders slider passes now may have better clarity. I rate these 5 star since they have held up well and work. The ability to pan tilt and zoom is handy too. My experiences are hardly objective since I dont have much to compare against other brands. I started out with cameras which screwed into incandescent bulb receptacles. Those for me did not work nearly as well. Thats all I have got to compare with. That and if one goes with different vendors you will end up with as many Apps on your phone. I like the simplicity of just an App or two to deal with.

This is a great product with an excellent quality of video. You can either use your own memory card or buy a cloud subscription which is very cheap. No need to worry about charging because the solar plate will charge it on daily basis and you can see the battery status in your App. Good connectivity with wifi and App is easy to use.

The hardware is fine. The issue is the server. I have numerous cameras of another brand all around and they connect right away. When I try to log onto this cam, the blue connectivity wheel spins with a message to try again later. If I persist it eventually connects. Once connected. The signal is good and the camera works fine. I have placed another brand cam in the exact same position and it logs in right away and shows the video. The issue with IEGeek is the server. If this is not resolved, I plan to return it.

The camera comes with a bracket that can be screwed to a wall or ceiling. The camera can easily be setup to WiFi by following instructions in the User's Manual. The quality of the color night vision is great. Additionally, it provides 355 degrees pan and 120 degree tilt to cover a large area. Overall, this security camera is working great.

I bought two of these cameras. One of them started having technical problems. It wouldn't show the history on my sd card. I contacted customer service. The response was super fast! They worked with me to try to fix the issue. After not being able to fix it they replaced the camera! We had many back and forth emails and they were all answered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this camera and this seller!
