This is a pretty sturdy table, benches are strong but kinda thin, they are comfy and have more padding than I expected. The problem was the delivery- box was busted up badly, and the corners of the table were damaged.

We had a high wooden table that had the high barstool chairs. Eventually it broke and due to both us having knee issues we looked for table and chairs where our legs did not dangle. Found this table with the padded bench seats and took a chance. It is the coziest, well made table and seating. The price was perfect, easy to assemble and looks great in our kitchen. We love it.
