The mattress and base were delivered quickly and efficiently as two items. The base was easy to put together and there were several leg heights to make the overall bed height just what we wanted. Everything worked better than expected! Very pleased with functionality. The medium firm mattress is perfect, being thicker than a normal queen, but a wee bit smaller so the sheets will fit A-OK. To make things even better, I was able to find a responsible and inexpensive mattress recycler in Denver for disposing of my old mattresses. The only reason I am not giving my new mattress 5 stars is for the out-gassing of the VOC's from flame retardants from the mattress. Could be also foam and glue out-gassing, I suppose. And I realize some mattresses are more "smelly" than others when new. Ours took about a week for the smell to totally subside and it helped to throw back blankets and sheets every day to allow more smell to escape. ... show more

We tried to return the mattress after a few weeks and were told we had to wait till we hit 60 days. Then we missed the window on the return and have been using it for a year. The bed frame works great, but the mattress really hurts my back. Would not recommend the mattress. If you can get just the frame and find a better mattress I would go that way. ... show more

This bed is everything I hoped for and more. I have never spent this much on a bed before but with chronic pain, I had to get the best. I definitely got the best value for my money. Before I was sleeping on a 10-20yr old mattress. That and fibromyalgia left me cropping out of bed in the morning. Not with this gem! It hurts NONE of my pressure points which I thought impossible. It relieves my snoring with the snore position and when it gets really bad, I turn on the massage. Let me tell you, best feeling ever! Some balm and the massage setting is all I need to feel better. The different settings of massage are great too. The zero gravity helps my back and I am overjoyed. The only downside was that it took a long time to get here. Nearly a month and the shipping company used is overburdened with orders. They were super helpful for all the times that I called. Thank you Ideal bed for making the ideal bed for me. The adjustable bed frames are fine. The mattresses both have collapsed springs where they fold in the middle. I tried to file a warranty claim but they have set an impossible requirement. I have to send pictures showing the mattress collapsed without any weight on it. This is not possible with the pillow top. So we had to buy new mattresses, $2500 or what we paid for the whole bed. Complete rip-off - DO NOT BUY! They will not honor the warranty and it is administered by a third party, they will not respond directly to the buyer. ... show more

I have to be honest and say that I didn't expect this bed to be as awesome as it described it was, but to my husband and myself, we were incredibly pleased with the bed. It is truly amazing. It is so comfortable with just perfect firmness, not too firm and not too soft. It adjusts into many different positions, and the massage is such a bonus. My husband kept me awake with his t-rex,chainsaw, demon snore sounds, until the first night we slept in our new bed, and just like magic, the snore position changed the horrendous noise he had always made. If I had any idea that this bed was magic, we would have bought it years ago. We couldn't be happier with this bed. In 30 years of marriage, I've never been happier. ... show more

I am beyond disappointed and fed up with this company. I ordered the iDealBed iQ5 Luxury Hybrid Mattress and Adjustable Bed Sleep System, and it's been a headache ever since... money wasted! The would-be adjustable frame never fully worked, starting right out of the box! All it did and does is provide a massage feature but zero adjusting functionality (which was the entire purpose of buying the adjustable frame). It gets better, so after numerous days of taking off work, I set up appointments with iDeal beds. Whichever company they outsource near me for the frame to be "fixed," well over a year later and many failed attempts of the same issues (my listening to the repair guys go through the same motions with tech support literally every time), nothing worked to fix the adjustable frame. So iDeal bed sent out a replacement motor; they say it was the issue, yet only the massage feature works! After going around and around with them, I asked why can't a new working frame be sent to me and the none working one taking back?! No brainer, right? Wrong! They (multiple call reps) said they would not do that because it's a simple solution and the frame only has X amount of parts that could be the issue (It's not covered under any version of the two warranties I have on the mattress and frame I call myself protecting my purchase). So, in summary, I wasted over half of $1,906.94. Never again-- Also the mattress itself may be a medium soft and not firm...because it has been giving me back problems for the past 6 months now. ... show more

awesome bed! We love everything about it. was pleasantly surprised to not even have a "break-in" period, or adjustment. comfy from the get-go. love love love adjustment and massage, under bed light and construction. VERY comfy. VERY well made except the legs could have been metal instead of poly tubbing, but still sturdy. Beautiful mattress material. only drawback is that the bases are extremely heavy, like 106 pounds and def need two men to carry upstairs. mattresses were light and myself and my husband was able to get them upstairs. Great bed. happy to get it so far!! love the warranty and try-out period offers. you won't regret it, as I sure don't. have had them only a week and love them ... show more

The mattresses are poor quality, they cave in, it is even difficult to climb out of the bed in the morning, the split kings are not the same length, the stiches are coming apart.
