I will be 100% honest and say that we had no idea what a pressure cooker was or how it was used. Both my wife and I had seen family members use one during the holidays many times and finally decided that it was time for us to get one. We did some research and finally settled on this model and ordered it. After it arrives we unpacked it and we're a little intimidated by what we found. However after doing a little bit of research on how a pressure cooker works and got some recipes we are ready to go. We bought a 3 pound pork shoulder roast follow it all the instructions on the recipe we use and in an hour and 15 minutes we had perfectly cooked pulled pork and we're eating it by dinner time. This pressure cooker is super easy to use, easy to set up, and cooks exactly as you would expect. coming from somebody who's never used one in the past and frankly isn't a very good cook this is a really great appliance to have in your kitchen. The cooker came packaged very very professionally, it felt like something I would get at a big box retailer for kitchen and home appliances. After ordering it shipped very quickly and arrived on-time undamaged. overall both my wife and I are very excited to have this and are honestly considering getting rid of our old slow cooker now that we have this thing in the kitchen. ... show more

REVISED. The seller does not currently sell replacements for the seal. If you read up on these instant pressure cookers, the seal tends to smell malodorous (mine does already) and needs replacement. For that reason, I’m removing a star. Otherwise, great product. Easy to use, looks sturdy. Never used a pressure cooker before. Great to put together quick meals. Risotto takes minutes, and it comes out perfectly. See pic of mushroom/kale risotto. Meatballs took 7 minutes and came out super tasty. Made numerous meals; lentil soup, pea soup, short ribs; all at a fraction of the usual time. The stainless bowl is easy to clean. Can't wait to try out other recipes. ... show more

All the women in my family have used pressure cookers set since I was a child. I am happy to now have an electric one, and I bought one for my single son for Christmas. My only reservation, I wish I had purchased the 4 quart instead of 6 quart since I cook for just the 2 of us. I love the fact that this one appliance is a rice cooker, crock pot, pressure cooker all in one. Now I can get rid of 2 pots, replacing them with one. ... show more

The machine came in and while small it's basically the same as an instapot so interchangeable instructions. mine had a broken float sensor so I don't know when the pressure is low so I have to wait a little long to be safe.

I don't like that I cannot set this on high pressure for less than 20 minutes. I should be able to set on high for the number of minutes that I want.
