  • Easy to Assemble, Affordable Filters
Size: Gravity-fed Water Filter
My Original Order of this ICEPURE Gravity-fed Water Filter System arrived so well and tightly packaged that I couldn’t take the Unit Pieces apart so I can set it up. I didn’t want to force it open and cause Damage to the Unit. So, I asked for a Replacement, that will open, so I can do my Review on this Product. The Replacement of this Water Filter System also came well-packaged and in good Condition. It was easy to take apart and set up. Assembling the Filters was also easy. Compared to my old System’s Filters, this ICEPURE’s Filters are a lot cheaper and work just as well. The only Issue I ran into was my Kitchen Upper Cabinets, which didn’t provide me with a lot of Space to place this tall Water Filter System. So, I have to find a different Place for it. But that’s not this System’s Fault. Overall, I like this Water Filter System because the Filters are affordable. ... show more

  • 1/3 the cost and more value, so-so directions
Size: Gravity-fed Water Filter
Good value relative to similar units; much larger capacity than the Berkey unit I bought at 1/3 the price. Directions not great: diagrams too small and no labeled well. Some parts of construction overlooked entirely. Still, giving it 4.5 stars as once constructed it functions well.

  • Spigot
Size: Gravity-fed Water Filter
There's an incomplete weld causing a leak. Also filters top popped off & broke. Other than that everything else is fine. Bought a new spigot from another company & worked fine , along with new filters Edit: Company reached out to me a bit late but refunded me the price of the replacement spigot I bought else where. Aside from that hiccup I'd recommend. I notice a difference in taste between the filtered & tap. Happy overall :) ... show more

  • They look like Berkley filters...but do they filter as well as Jeremy filters?
Size: Water Filter
These filters arrived with exceptional protective packaging two to a box. It looks like they are made from the same material as Berkey filters. I could not find a comparison on line testing their filtering ability. That would really be helpful. Here is how I plan to use these filters. We live off grid and haul water from town and filter it through a Royal Berkey system. If there is an emergency and water treatment plants are down, we can always use water from our pond but it needs to be filtered first before drinking or using for cooking, etc. I have made a pre Berkey filter system using two stainless stock pots from Walmart. I just drilled two holes in the bottom of one pot and mounted these two filters upright in that pot. Then when this pot is set above the second pot, raw pond water that has been poured through cheese cloth is poured in the top pot to filter through these filters. Then the water from the lower pot is put through the Berkey system just to be sure. You can make something like this for your own emergency system if you want. Hopefully some test person will compare these filters to the Berkeys. In any event these filters cost way less than the $100 Berkey charges. ... show more

  • Good, Do not overfill!
Size: Gravity-fed Water Filter
Overall this is pretty good. I do have an issue with overfilling. I loaded the top reservoir, and then loaded it again once it had depleted half of its contents. I went about my business and found a pool of water emanating from the seam where the tanks meet and another time from the connection point of the water level measurement above the spigot. That said, I did another test where I filled the tank fully once and did not experience any leaks. Aside from that the water tastes great and love to enjoy some filtered water while out! ... show more

  • Easy to set up for use but takes alot of counter space
Size: Gravity-fed Water Filter
Easy to set up for use. Not very thick stainless steel so light enough to move. Not the most sturdy stand that came with it - basically the canister just sits ontop of the wire stand. Nothing remarkable about the flavor of the filtered water that I could tell. But it is a large item that takes up alot of counter space. And the stainless steel exterior gets mucky with water stains and fingerprints. Thought I would enjoy using it but not for me - too much maintenance involved to keep using it. And it is pricey too for the quality of it. ... show more

  • For the prepper
Size: Gravity-fed Water Filter
My husband is a prepper. Not a serious one, but he wants to have what we needs if we ever need it. This was something we didn't have and would prove to be vital. It is rather large and not something we would just use to use when we have other electronic ways of filtering water instead.

  • No issues, seems to work fine. Need to prime it or wait a few days for full flow.
Size: Water Filter
This was my first time trying an off brand Berkey filter. So far, they seem just fine after priming with the kitchen faucet. Note they don't come with a priming tool, so I used one from another set. You can also just let these sit in a pot of water for a day, so the air bubbles work their way out. If you just stick these in a Berkey system dry, you might not get any flow. So definitely try to really soak them or force water through them with your faucet before installation. Weight seems pretty good, closer to the authentic Berkey ones than some other brands. I expect that I'll get a fair number of years of use with these. (I'm using the weight as a measure of how much carbon is in the filter, and more carbon should mean more filtration, all else being equal) This filter didn't come with instructions, and didn't have a huge list of things that it filtered. The real Berkey filter has a whole page of things that it filters, but it's many times the cost. These would be a good backup, or if you didn't need to worry about those other potential contaminants. ... show more
