After giving this portable ice maker a test run, I ended up returning it within hours. It definitely delivers on its primary function—making good ice quickly—but the noise level was just too much for my upstairs location. Size was another surprise; it took up more counter space than I anticipated. This would be a perfect addition to a kitchen, outdoor entertainment area, or RV where the sound wouldn't be as noticeable and space isn't at such a premium. While it's marketed as "portable," I'd call it more "relocatable"—it works great for vacation homes or RVs, but it's not something you'd want to move around frequently. The machine performed its ice-making duties efficiently during my brief testing period, but ultimately wasn't the right fit for my specific needs. The media could not be loaded. ⭐ 1 Star – “Three Strikes and This Thing’s Out” Verified Purchase I really, really wanted to love this machine. On paper, it's the perfect triple threat: ice maker, hot water dispenser, and cold water cooler. In reality? It's more like three separate failure modes packed into one shiny countertop disappointment. Unit 1: Water tasted like melted plastic and regret. Even after running gallons through it, it still had that toxic Tupperware aftertaste. Unit 2: Screamed like a dying squirrel during every ice cycle. Loud enough to scare the dog. Unit 3: Just flat-out didn’t work. No ice, no cold water. Hot water functioned, but at that point I could’ve boiled it on the stove faster and with less heartache. I’ve now gone through three of these, and each one found a unique way to let me down. At this point I’m convinced this isn’t a product—it’s an elaborate prank on people who enjoy beverages. Save yourself the time, frustration, and duct tape. This machine is all promise, no performance. Verdict: Do not recommend. Unless you're starting a museum of malfunctioning appliances.

This countertop ice maker is such a game-changer!
