Used to buy a bag of ice once a week. Bought ice maker to not have to do that anymore. Tried a different but similar model first but it didn't work at all. I've been using this one twice a week every week for the last year. Only knock on it would be that the 2 different sizes of cubes it makes aren't that different, but I'm OK with the size it makes. Takes about 3 hours to make enough ice to fill the bin in our refrigerators freezer. It's not silent, but not so loud that it's distracting or annoying.

This is one of the most useful items I purchased in a while. Got tired of dealing with ice cube trays, its always a pain to get the ice loose and they always end up breaking/cracking and need to be constantly replaced. I tried plastic, silicone, and combination trays they are all rubbish. Finally made the splurge and bought an ice maker and its soo amazing! All I have to do is check the water level every few days and make sure its full. It automatically makes ice and the ice stays frozen in the collection tray for quite a while. Eventually it starts to melt and the water will drip down to be recycled into new fresh ice. The constant cycling means there is always ice available anytime I need it. I just let it run all day, and only power it down at night. In the morning all it takes is a few minutes and the first batch is done and ready for my iced coffee. If you need lots of ice, can empty the tray every few minutes into a bag, then store in the freezer. I did this in preparation for camping and by the end of the day had enough ice to fill my small cooler. Glad I have it now that summer is in full swing. Its so easy even my 6 year old can help themself to ice whenever they want. Prevents them from complaining about the heat.

I purchased this as a gift for a family member. The mint color is beautiful and the ice maker is a convenient size!! 😍 The machine is lightweight and very easy to move around. So far, the ice quality meets expectations and there are no complaints about the functionality of the appliance. Of course the ice maker has only been used minimally, so I will edit my review later to include the overall durability of the machine after more usage.

The lights would not correctly indicate which options were chosen, and ultimately, the start/on button ceased to function, preventing it from making ice.

I am so happy to own this ice maker, especially for the summer months. It's great to have ice within a few minutes. It's important to note that this machine makes ice fast but does not keep it frozen. It is not a freezer. I start it up when I want ice an fill my glass/travel mug. If I have room in my freezer I'll collect it in a freezer bag and place it in my freezer. Or when I'm expecting visitors. Pretty dang handy.
