Not clear, at all. Cloudy. Only bought because they claimed clear ice. Cleaned the machine when I got it (late). It took over 3 bottle water to fill. Turned it on, it's not very loud at all. However, for the first few hours of it being on, it smells like when you first turn the ac on high in your car- that cold freon smell. I empties the first set of ice cube. I ate from the second and they tasted weird. Dumped them. The ice from the 3rd batch made my mouth feel weird. I also have ptsd and Like I said, the machine itself is quiet but when that ice dropped into the basket, it startled tf out of me lol every time- (Return) it was an impulse buy that I tried to cancel. Couldn't so I was like, it's already bought so I'll use it. It was a few things I could have over looked but the taste of the ice was not one of them ... show more

I have used only distilled water in it and the cubes are clear and taste is great. What might help is to put a white line for the refill level.

I bought this ice maker after tiring of seeing my best friend buy bags of ice to pour in the broken dispenser of her fridge. The setup took less time than opening the box. To say she loved it is an understatement. Perfect cubes in a few minutes.

This thing is pretty decent. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't keep the ice cold in there. You have to take it put it in bag or container right away. But when it melts it keeps making the ice. So as it melts more ice is making. Soo that's okay. I usually turn it on in the morning and off at night. It's nothing fancy but it's pretty decent little thing. I like it. I would recommend it to someone. Just not to people who like super expensive high-tech products 😂🤣... Update: It stopped working. Emailed them for a replacement. Well see how that goes and I'll update again. Yeah I didnt hear from anyone. So this was a no go. I went through troubleshooting on Amazon and all they were doing was copying and pasting they didnt even know anything about this product and the trouble shooting they were asking me to do wasnt even part of this product they also sent me a youtube video from a customer that was taking the ice machine apart fixing it. I told them I was NOT taking the machine apart and end up accidentally breaking it and then I for sure cant return it. I just wanted a simple exchange for a new one. and they made it difficult. They had me email the company and instead of just returning it like normal amazon products within 30 days. I didnt hear from anyone through where this product came from. It really works and does what it is supposed to do. My only issue is the wetness of the ice. It makes it impossible to save the for later in the freezer because all the cubes melt together.
