I live in an apartment so I thought this would pay for itself within a year because I wouldn't have to pay $5 for a bag of ice 2 x a week. Well that's not the case, In fact it might ending up costing you depending on where you live and your electric company. It does make the ice fairly quick like it says however they forget to mention the fact that if you don't take it out right away and bag it it just melts and starts the process all over. Now if I had a large freezer I could do just that but then I would have to break the ice up just to fill my glass because the ice is wet when you take it out of the ice maker. I'm completely disappointed and now I know why it was such a deal. Deception is cheap! I wanted to post a video but I am not giving anyone access to my storage even if it is just pictures ... show more

This machine makes ice in less than 10 minutes. I have filled the 2 ice bags that came with it in no time. Really like this machine. Alot easier to use than my old one which was a frigidaire. Definitely worth the money!!
