I've had two of these Kumio ice machines, the first one sent was a dud one week out of the box. It was flashing the "add water" when filled and doing nothing else. I contacted Kumio who responded quickly and asked me to send a video of the error, so I created a *video review* of their defunct ice maker on my counter and sent it off! They contacted me back with lightning speed 😅⚡, and informed me they were expediting me another, however my specific color was sold out and they were waiting on the batch of the latest version from the manufacturer, which could be a while out, and offered me a white one. It wouldn't go with my all black kitchen, so I opted to endure the wait....... I'm so glad I did, bcs I love it! I'm an ice fiend that runs her machine around the clock and after a full year of heavy usage, she's still puuuring along beautifully! There are a couple nuisances with the design I'd like to change, like putting a steeper pitch or a wax coating on ice dump so the machine doesn't think the tray is full and reinforcing the ice bay lid tab top (they can chip), other than that she's perfect! Highly recommend!

Purchased April 19, 2024 At 5:30 a.m. 06/19/2024 I cleaned my icemaker with vinegar and water. It is now 2:15 p.m. and the water reservoir continues to fill and empty as if was still in cleaning mode. When I press the power button, nothing happens. It still continues to fill and empty. I have unplugged the machine and plugged back in and it continues to run as if it was in cleaning mode.....not making ice. How is Kuli Appliances going to resolve this issue please.

After approximately 6 months, the lid broke and I had to tape it so it would stay on. Then at 11 months now, whenever it is pulling water into the top, it is making a horrendous noise even when the reservoir is full. It is still making ice, it’s just very very loud at the beginning of each ice making cycle. Also, if the ice basket is t emptied or the ice shifted around in it frequently, the maker thinks the basket is full (when it isn’t) and it stops making ice. Finally, it thinks it is out of water wayyy before it is - sometimes the reservoir is half full. But when this happens, it allows all the ice you made to melt and does not restart. Overall, it is a mediocre tabletop machine.
