I’ve used those older-style machines where you have to freeze the bowl overnight, and let’s be honest—who remembers to do that in advance? This one is fully automatic and has its own built-in compressor, so I can whip up a batch of gelato, sorbet, or ice cream whenever the craving hits. The LCD display is super easy to use and makes the whole process feel high-tech in the best way. The machine is quiet (surprisingly so!), and clean-up is pretty straightforward. Junk. My first unit made five batches then the Channing arm stopped. I have Amazon insurance and this is covered so they sent me a new one. Marginal annoyance on the return process. I just unboxed the replacement unit... which broke after two batches! This last batch the arm broke a little under the soft stage and unfortunately was probably the best batch ever and completely wasted. This unit is loud, not silent like the description states. Its also a pain to clean since the bowl does not remove. BUYER BEWARE!

I love this ice cream maker! It arrived nicely packaged, each piece secured well. It is a nice size and is very stylish and sleek, so it looks good on the counter. It’s easy to use and has saved us so much money since each of us prefer a different flavor. You can add things like sprinkles or cookies to change it up. It makes the best ice cream, so fresh and delicious. You can choose firm or soft serve and it’s super easy to clean. Looking forward to using this daily in the summer!

Let's start with the good! For $80 this is a great first time ice cream maker. It takes about 1.5 hrs to make a soft ice cream with no prefreezing (which was the reason I bought it) I love that it is compact. It doesn't have a removable container making it different (not difficult) to clean. It makes enough to make 2 servings. (I fill it half way because I'm not sure if it can handle more) The downside I tried to upload a short video and no matter what it comes up with an error, so I can't. It is not as quiet as I had hoped. I have a counter top ice machine and am used to a compressor making noise but this is a high pitched whine every rotation. It will not stop me from using this but next time I would spend a little more and getter a better model. It also didn't come with very good instructions luckily it is not rocket science. Their is also no recipe book and as I have never made ice cream I was hoping for a couple of tried and true recipes but I found some online. Overall I'll keep using it and am in love with making my own fresh frozen yogurt at home. I'll definitely buy a quieter one next time and might try to find one that you can remove the container to make cleaning easier.

This works great. So simple to use. Making ice cream so easy. No need for the ice and salt. Just put in your mix and let it go. Once done it switches over to cold. The only problem is it's small but at least it's fast.

Love this machine, except that the bowl that the ice cream is made in does not come out. But just add ingredients and turn in turns off when done and then will keep it cold for up to 6 hours . Not loud , about like a microwave wave level.,

I love this thing.. I actually love that it gave a little recipe book for my first try. So it made use so easy and set up is a few moments of your time. I was able to get my kids involved although it is not enough for my whole family to enjoy so that was is my only real complaint... and it's ready to eat once complete but can be frozen after use. It's not great to clean but in life I feel nothing is! The quality is on point and it's very well made for the price.

This machine sold me a dream and delivered a slushie. The instructions? Trash. The recipes? Trash. The build? Dollar-store energy. My mixture never froze. Not once. The only reason I had anything close to ice cream is because I put it in my regular freezer like it was 1992. And let’s talk about the churning paddle—this thing tapped out faster than somebody on their first day at the gym. Broke clean off as soon as the mixture got past slush. So basically, it’s an overpriced mistake with a weak motor and fragile parts that can’t handle the job it was designed for. Save your money. Save your patience. If you want a slushy machine that pretends to be an ice cream maker, this is it. Otherwise, run. RUN. You’d honestly have better luck using two spoons and a freezer bag.
